The rear of that is at least 12-18 inches too high.

The rear lights and boot have no need to be that high.
True of 90% of cars on the road nowadays. I'm hoping the 'twerking' look will go out of fashion soon.

You can see where the Panamera got it's inspiration.
Presumably from one of the many, many other estate/shooting brakes that came out before this one did??

Do you reckon that the added cargo space could convince the boss that this is a good choice for a new work van?

It just isn't right. The side profile reminds me of one of those stretched Jaguars/Mercedes/Fords/Vauxhalls that funeral directors use. Recognisable as the original vehicle, but wrong somehow. I think it's the roof on the Aston that reminds me of that.

As for selling the tooling to make more of them. He's dreaming!
Agree. It's the AM funeral car.
Very slab sided with tiny rear side windows.
Ref the tooling though, I'm sure there's someone out there who could bash one off in the shed..

My thoughts exactly. It's a lovely looking thing because I have a weakness for Astons and you never know how man maths can work out, so clicked through to the advert to see how much was being asked for it only to discover it's POA. As a result no idea what level the chap's got in mind and whether it's worth a discussion.

Reading the article he seems to have a penchant for the pointless. This car is an underwhelming representation of a brand I used to go out of my way to peer at (1960’s, 70’s & 80’s models). The Jet 1 was quite an interesting shape in era.

Nice. Prefer the original two door, though.
Not the first modernish Aston estate or shooting brake.

With Lawrence Stroll of F1 inclination (Racing Point, ex Force India) leading a consortium to inject £200m into the company as 17% shareholders you can safely assume something's going to happen - and very likely to be SUV-shaped.

It already has happened. DBX, anyone?
