I looked at one that had come from Dubai fairly recently.
It had 6 years of missing service history and a recent £20k service bill when it came to the UK
Doesn’t surprise me in the slightest. What does surprise me is why anyone would bother importing a ‘cheap’ GCC car to then have a comprehensive service in the uk. Unless that was the first Uk owner getting their bks kicked in. It had 6 years of missing service history and a recent £20k service bill when it came to the UK
As a cheap Bradford hire car bodged to keep mobile, perhaps it makes sense, otherwise I’d be very cautious importing any Middle Eastern car.
I’ve been involved from the Dubai end of a few cars shipped to the U.K. One needs to be very careful of the service history and look for actual service receipts rather than simply stamps in the book.
Most of the ‘cheap’ Ferraris and Lambos were bought new by twentysomething ‘locals’ out here on outrageous finance, they could barely afford to keep them in petrol, let alone service the things.
Thankfully newer models now come with service plans, but it’s still worth checking they actually got done!

is a perfect illustration of what you describe. It's service history is far from full (or it was when I viewed it last summer).
Having seen this just had a browse around, interesting that I could part with the 355 and jump into a 430, not that I’m going to however.
Also as for the mileage, I’ve had two fezzas now, first one had half the mileage of my second however it also had the most issues, probably due to being sat about most it’s life.
