An annual inspection is inline with what manufacturers state with regard to meeting the conditions of their anti-perforation warranties so makes sense.

Just love the W124! The last of the Panzer division of Mercedes - built like one and bombproof. I see quite a few out in Spain, some a bit scabby with crappy paintwork but basically solid as the Rock of Gibraltar! Long may they roll, and I suspect they will still be around when the latter-day models have been crushed and turned into electric crap-wagons...

I was just thinking about this the other day, decided to re-read the article and noticed the promise of a follow-up after 1 year... so, it's been a year biggrin
