I'm a massive fan of the Mk2 CRV - they're really well designed and practical family cars. You've done well to get a low mileage high-spec car. Most CRVs at that price level are worn-out high milers.
Thanks mate. We had an '02 Sport before we moved on to the Gen 3. Running both cars side by side now we can see the marked differences and benefits of the Gens against each other. Old man has a Gen 4 so it's now a Family!keo said:
I love these and this sounds a perfect spec. Your car history is similar to mine. If I had a shorter commute I would definitely have one!
You have great taste! I'm fortunate enough to be within walking distance of work, so this can be reserved for 'fun times'.I've wanted one of these ever since I first saw one, but they don't come up with all the 'right' bits on them very often!
If you get the opportunity, I would seriously recommend them!

Bought this in October. Best car I've ever owned. We've been very blessed with a mild winter too - there's only been one day where it's been below 7 degrees so I've put quite a few miles on it. Totally smitten.
991.2 ?Lovely!.
And that's a dominate the stairs colour-combo too. Mean-machine.

Purchased this last February, 458 Italia, easily the most fun car I have ever owned. It replaced an F-Type SVR which replaced a 5.0 Mustang, I test drove 570S, Huracans and 991.1 GT3 RS and was easily the most fun car at legal speeds, the others though also incredible just lacked that fizz at legal speeds, also test drove a 488 which left me feeling numb.
Done 7000 miles in the past year, needless to say it never fails to make me grin, smile and giggle like a kid, I love it, just had a recent detail / polish / ceramic coat at Autobrite and has being trouble free so far.
A few months later I sold my E46 M3 and Clio 172 Cup as before I used to enjoy driving the E46 M3 when I had the SVR and Mustang because it felt lightweight and precise, as it was CSL spec and weighed only 1320kg, but once I had the 458 I simply stopped driving the M3 and the Clio was always an investment and restore project.
Now for daily duties and poor weather days I got one of these little pocket rockets, it might not be as accomplished and planted as a Fiesta ST but it has a real old school vibe and again is fun to drive at legal speeds - Abarth 180 Compitizione Performance Pack:
Done around 5000 miles since owning, so far needed a drop link and a wheel bearing, it is on 52,000 miles now so expected wear and tear items really.

It's in Carmine, which for me is the best GTS colour. The way I feel this morning, I'd struggle to dominate the stair lift, let alone the stairs!

Wow really like these. I thought they were 0-60 in 6.5sec though, has it been remapped?
Nope, that's standard for this generation. You might have been thinking of the previous E90 generation Alpina D3, which was a 2.0 4 cylinder diesel with either single or double turbo (modified 123d lump if I remember correctly for the double turbo version).
The F30 had a big boost in performance, as it switched to a 3.0 6 cylinder twin turbo setup.
The idea of a remap would terrify me as I have enough challenges getting off the line this time of year as it is. LSD is on the todo list, as it was not available with xDrive in the UK sadly.
