Picked up an M2 competition in September. Love it. Fitted an Eisenmann exhaust and think I’ll have it remapped by Litchfield at some point.
Interested in this. Am sorely tempted by the M2 Comp as my next motor. However, coming from a C63 AMG with its bombastic engine note I'm a little concerned about the reports of the much muted soundtrack of the S55.Does the Eisenmann make a hugely noticeable difference? Cost much to fit?

Take a look at this guy, may help to twist your arm for a fraction of the cost of a full system... https://www.exhaustmods.co.uk/Does the Eisenmann make a hugely noticeable difference? Cost much to fit?

I love these too and I often drool over them when I'm in the Merc dealership. Such a lovely shape to my eyes. Black and red interior GTS with premium pack.
Buying unseen but done loads of research on the dealer and everything checks out. My wife had never even seen one let alone sat in one so got her a seat/ ride in a hell green GTR, she screamed but loved it.

As standard the car seems really quiet, especially because of the GPF. Compared to my mates M4 that was noticeably louder. The Eisenmann was £2300 and I fitted it myself, pretty easy to do if you have access to a ramp. Does the Eisenmann make a hugely noticeable difference? Cost much to fit?
It makes it sound way better. Is borderline anti-social on a cold start which is irritating but it’s fine once it’s warmed up. Doesn’t seem any droning etc. The tips look nicer too which is a bonus.

Purchased this last February, 458 Italia, easily the most fun car I have ever owned. It replaced an F-Type SVR which replaced a 5.0 Mustang, I test drove 570S, Huracans and 991.1 GT3 RS and was easily the most fun car at legal speeds, the others though also incredible just lacked that fizz at legal speeds, also test drove a 488 which left me feeling numb.
Done 7000 miles in the past year, needless to say it never fails to make me grin, smile and giggle like a kid, I love it, just had a recent detail / polish / ceramic coat at Autobrite and has being trouble free so far.
A few months later I sold my E46 M3 and Clio 172 Cup as before I used to enjoy driving the E46 M3 when I had the SVR and Mustang because it felt lightweight and precise, as it was CSL spec and weighed only 1320kg, but once I had the 458 I simply stopped driving the M3 and the Clio was always an investment and restore project.
Now for daily duties and poor weather days I got one of these little pocket rockets, it might not be as accomplished and planted as a Fiesta ST but it has a real old school vibe and again is fun to drive at legal speeds - Abarth 180 Compitizione Performance Pack:
Done around 5000 miles since owning, so far needed a drop link and a wheel bearing, it is on 52,000 miles now so expected wear and tear items really.
I like the fact that even with a 458 you still maintain an appreciation of cars such as clio 172, fiesta st and the wee 500. Proper petrolhead! Not to everyone's taste, it's not sure if it's a sports car, cruiser or even a real Porsche .... bought it in June 2019 to replace a cracking but troublesome XF sportbrake. Hated by many for having 4 doors, a diesel engine, I like it, Mrs Grouch likes it & nobody has spat on it or thrown any abuse at me .......... YET !
Last actual 'purchase' was a Prodrive Brera V6 S, from ebay, unseen, 500 miles away in Aberdeen. Why? Commute distance halved, so economy can also halve and I wanted something 'nice' to commute in.
Stopped for a bite to eat on the drive home, such a beautiful looking car

Latest acquisition is a Holden Ute, which I swapped for the Brera after a few months via facebook in a multi-storey in MK. Why? Because the Brera wasn't a Ute. Or a V8. Or RWD. Or in JPS livery. And for the fuel economy, was nowhere near powerful enough. And front wheel drive wheelspin is a sad and miserable thing.
4 days after collection took it to Le Mans, the included Ute tent worked wonders
