my new (to me) e46 M3 Touring clone. BMW decided to not make 'em, so a few intrepid enthusiasts around the world have taken up the mantle for them!!!
Here is our kiwi version from New Zealand. At home with it's little French sibling......
Great combo!

Currently sat in a 'spoons in Bolton waiting to pick up an E85 Z4 for the missus. Coffee's nice.

Had coffee, resisted breakfast, collected car.

Not to the level of many on here, but what a fabulous little car! Gave me lots of grins on the way over the M62, surprisingly comfortable and really well put together still for an old girl (it's a girl btw).

Great trade seller too.

Bought this last week. Wife has been having issues with diesel her car due to regular short journeys. She didnt like driving mine because she 'felt claustrophobic' (Civic). Strange one - back street 'dealer'. 82k Executive petrol model in great condition inside and out, full leather, cruise etc - only thing that's not working is the Sat Nav (rad and CD is) but no biggie as maps 14 years out of date!

No service history other than the V5 and current MOT ticket (1yr) - even the service book, manual and other documents are from a Gen 1! Bought as a 'trade' sale for a few hundred above 'Shed' ceiling but has clearly been well looked after - oil golden and new filter, 4 almost new looking Bridgetone A/T tyres and two new brake calipers on the rear.

She's as happy as Larry!

Brilliant these are, i had one a few months back and it was the most reliable car I've ever owned.

Bought from private dealer. I'm also getting a 19 plate GTR next month.

Just had this delivered after a spontaneous auction bid.

Now to try and track down some history if anyone knows the previous owner of LT59 YBJ That could help

At the time the cheapest W12 B in the official network.
After a diesel Range Rover it’s like floating in silence.

Looks great! I am a fan of these! The colour is great.

Know someone who went from a petrol Range Rover to one and he loves it!

Nice! And forget about 'level', think that's the fun of this thread -- doesn't matter, there's something genuinely nice and/or interesting for every price point. The E85 cars are IMO a bit of a bargain, especially in the UK, but even on the continent prices haven take off yet.

I purchased a Porsche 911 turbo when they were just so cheap it was silly not to buy one, really nice example too! As they were selling really well lately I sold it at a profit. I used that and a big wedge I’d saved to buy the Aston. Was looking for ages for a manual then 2 became available so I took the plunge and don’t regret it for one minute guys. Awesome beautiful car and can’t think of a nicer place than behind the wheel of drop dead gorgeous DBS

I sold my 2008 535d estate and picked up a 2015 640d gran coupe.
Loving it, the 360 view cameras are great, comfort seats are brilliant, my 4 year loves the hud and digital dash and I must admit, the active sound is quite funny.

Picked up this morning, traded my C7 RS6 performance. So much road presence and I'm like a dog with 2 danglies. Not pushed it yet, mainly because I've had the brake in the passenger seat.

Very nice. Very jealous. Genuine question - how do people fund lavish cars? Is there a secret “successful person” method? Is it typically through being a business owner and tax deductible cleverness or is it purely hard work and pay the price for nice things?

What I’m getting at is could an average Joe ever aspire to own a super car or do you really need to own a business and make your fortune that way rather than becoming a senior exec of a blue chip and having to actually shell out 100k or whatever
You can lease an Aston for around £1000 a month, so if you are taking home about £3-£4k it's perfectly doable if you are willing to compromise. I wouldn't be. I'm also not earning that amount of money.

Running costs are another matter. Big service on an Aston could be £10k plus.

You could have a C63 AMG for half of that.

Really wanted one but only two seat belts in the back. Damn you, Honda.

I think Honda has done it with all their type r's. Its a proper weapon though, great fun to drive. Hooks up really well through the corners. If you ever have the chance to drive one, have a go!
