After deciding to go down to a 2 car household to be sensible, and literally selling the main family car 2 hours before, I got informed that my job circumstances would mean I would be commuting half way around the M25 on a regular basis.
Didn't want to put the miles up on my 2003 Alpina B3S, or run up the miles on my wife's 2018 Golf GTI so the quest for a sensible commuting car which would be comfortable and have active cruise was on. Looked at various things, but then this turned up in North Yorkshire:
Alpina D3 BiTurbo. Ok it's a diesel, but it's pretty punchy (345bhp, 700Nm, 4.6 sec dash, 170 mph+), and (if you are sensible) will do about 50mpg. It's awesome and a great all rounder, though I have to be careful around cold tyres....
Of course job circumstances have changed again, so technically I don't need it, but I shall be keeping it anyway :-)
Oh, and then we had a mad moment and bought my wife a Nissan Figaro (she has always wanted one), so I've gone from 3 cars to 2 cars to 4 cars... That wasn't the plan....
Wow really like these. I thought they were 0-60 in 6.5sec though, has it been remapped?Didn't want to put the miles up on my 2003 Alpina B3S, or run up the miles on my wife's 2018 Golf GTI so the quest for a sensible commuting car which would be comfortable and have active cruise was on. Bought this last week. Wife has been having issues with diesel her car due to regular short journeys. She didnt like driving mine because she 'felt claustrophobic' (Civic). Strange one - back street 'dealer'. 82k Executive petrol model in great condition inside and out, full leather, cruise etc - only thing that's not working is the Sat Nav (rad and CD is) but no biggie as maps 14 years out of date!
No service history other than the V5 and current MOT ticket (1yr) - even the service book, manual and other documents are from a Gen 1! Bought as a 'trade' sale for a few hundred above 'Shed' ceiling but has clearly been well looked after - oil golden and new filter, 4 almost new looking Bridgetone A/T tyres and two new brake calipers on the rear.
She's as happy as Larry!

Got this just before Christmas, Peugeot 308 2.0 BlueHDI, bought for an increasing commute / upcoming move and for 2 to become 3. Took a fancy to one of these as a bit of a ‘different’ choice to a Leon or Focus, it’s got all the toys we could want for a good price without the Golf premium. It’s no GTI but it has enough poke for what it is and done well on a trip over to it’s motherland already, very happy with it so far!

I'm a massive fan of the Mk2 CRV - they're really well designed and practical family cars. You've done well to get a low mileage high-spec car. Most CRVs at that price level are worn-out high milers.Bought as a 'trade' sale for a few hundred above 'Shed' ceiling but has clearly been well looked after.
Bought this just after Christmas... Saab 9-5 Aero HOT, 260bhp. 125k but serviced on the button each year. Interior is near perfect and drives spot on... Love it! Admittedly not great around corners, but great on the motorway. Seats are amazing and the first owner must've asked for pretty much every optional extra. It's a manual so pretty good on fuel... up to 40mpg on a long run. The plan is to get a Stage 1 soon so it should make life more interesting! Don't see many around nowadays but so much car for so little money!

Beautiful! Monstrous cars these, absolutely love them. There's a viper green one that blats around my way in SW London. Looks awesome. https://picresize.com/popup.html?images/rsz_img_20...
Looked for 6months for the right one. Cayman 3.4S.
23k miles from New, never seen a wet road, unused for over 10years but still taken for its yearly mot and 2 year service schedule regardless.
Perfect in every way..

I bought this last april because I wanted something a bit more interesting in the garage and I'm still over the moon with it. I always drive it roof down...but I will admit that I'm looking forward to some warmer weather again.
I really fancied another TVR initially...but I didn't quite have the bottle after my last one though sadly.
I picked up a ex-demonstrator 370 Nismo on the 1st to replace my 202,000mile M5. The Nismo is a far better car than the reviews would have you believe.I really fancied another TVR initially...but I didn't quite have the bottle after my last one though sadly.

Nice one! I find myself looking at them a lot since I've had my 370. I think they look great and I really like the details with them. Plus the Recaro seats are lush.
Enjoy it.
