I owned a 997.1, a 997.2 and still have my 991.1. 2012 registered car as my ‘can’t bear to part with it’. All three were used as daily drivers and much as I loved the 997.2 (London to Toulouse trips in one day), the 991.1 is a better sports car and a better touring car with much better handling and a much better interior. Ultra reliable, fast and fun. Get a well cared for example and you will be thrilled and never disappointed.
