Wtf is that!
The 'fu5ked up' edition more like.
Would suit a sinkhole council estate just fine.
As for the price, £82k for a run of the mill main stream car? Ridiculous. All that needs is the parts shopping list down the door edge of the front wings. .
.

This thread seems to be inciting a great deal of stupidity. Whilst £82K is of course toppy, it's hardly 'run of the mill' now, is it?

80k for an Audi RS4? fk off.
The original RS4 was approx £47k back in 2000. Adjust that for inflation and it's now the exact equivalent of £80k in today's money. The standard current RS4 can be had for a mere £64k. That's cheap compared to the old car from year 2000. Plus you can pay monthly these days.

I hope they do this cheap, pay monthly version in the Q5 as well

Imho the RS4 looks amazing goes like stink but ultimately wltp has killed it as it makes virtually no sound.
Mine does (unmodified).
What killed it for me was the tiny seats and rockhard suspension. Much earlier model though. Would have bought it on looks alone back then!
You should take another look at a modern one. Very nice car to live with and a fantastic place to cover distance. Massage seats are completely standard and the side bolsters fully adjustable for size and hardness.

I remember seeing a used RS6 for sale is 2003 for £56k, and if Renault can sell a Megane for £72k, then is this really that expensive?

If they are making 25 cars, I think Audi may have over estimated the demand for an £82k A4.

Because someone's having a laugh. £82,000 !!!!! For an A4?
You're getting confused, it's an RS4. I don't think the A4 can be had with this engine, gearbox, suspension, interior bits, brakes and several different body panels.
Still, the price is ridiculous for a car of this size.
But you are forgetting one thing.
High RRP means they can give a nice looking discount and still make a fortune. Imagine seeing this new with a "Now on sale, 20% off!!!!!!!" sign. Looks good, doesn't it? You think you're getting a deal, they are still making tons of money biggrin

Murdered out edition, I like it, but it isn't Stealth.

This car
+ Silver Wheels
- RS4 Badge
- Tints

Then we're talking. Very easy to achieve with the stock car. However.

Eight-two grand LMFAO!!!!!!!

Quite like that, even though I'm not generally a fan of Audis.

However I cannot stand privacy glass - it really does make the car look like a van, more so with this incarnation.
This - so much this!

I'm relieved actually - I thought I was the only person who hated privacy glass.
I hate privacy glass. It must be an Audi UK thing, because I cant find a way to spec an RS6 without it. Despite the pic on the configurator showing a car without it, I cant find a way to deselect this "standard" feature.

Must be Audi UK then -- its possible to spec without it on the German website.

I don't like special edition cars and this one is no different, but I continue to question the attitudes of some people on PH, it is after all a motoring website supposedly populated by people who have a common interest in, and some degree of knowledge of, cars. I agree it's expensive, but only a fool would pay list, and though it's part of the A4 family, it's a world away from an A4 as a driving experience. Pick on the complete dilution of the AMG brand if you want to take that approach, but at least Audi only produce one RS model per platform, though I do think they've rather rinsed it.

Of course you could buy a Skoda and a Caterham, or a motorbike, or a Tiger Moth and have change left, or you can make cheap, sinister comments about Bradford but you're missing the point entirely. This is a fast, fun practical car that will either be a 'one fits all' for people in a certain bracket or a great daily for others with something more deviant for the weekend.

"Side bolsters" *shudder*

I had self-inflating side bolsters on a car once, they drove me bonkers until I worked out how to turn them off. This with Comfort Seats!

It's an Audi, of course its a run of the mill make, no different to Ford or Vauxhall. Every s got one..
