Not trying to be awkward, but what is a 2 series GT? Is it the FWD 'minivan'? More Mini than BMW.
Yes that one

Makes the 16,000 mile E36 328i on Autotrader for £5k look cheap.

£15,000 !!!!!!!!!
What possible explanation could they offer but asking that money for that car??? These ‘Modern Classic’ dealers seem to be on a mission of outrageous greed buy stretching the standard cliches to the Nth degree and then some! And the ‘yeah but they sell them though’ is only partly true. They usually ‘have a go with them’ at insane money for a bit and then have a ‘deal up’ with a trader mate who puts it in his showroom at £5000 more and tells everyone the markets ‘gone up’. It’s nuts!

Yet another reference in an article to cars becoming 'classic' at 25 years old. Its an arbitrary figure and not backed up by anything.
I thought this too, 40 years is surely the true classic age point, resulting in mot and tax exemption?

The low mileage plus history plus the selling dealer’s high standard will sell it sometime to a BMW collection where it will hardly be used. Someone with a collection won’t see it as a lot of money despite some seeing it as high.

I think it's the dealers wife's car and she really really loves it. He's finally convinced her after all these years that if someone is crazy enough to pay £15K she's got to let it go.

Shows what a bunch of chancers/clowns this dealer is.

I would never touch anything they sell.

Just listed mine which has a lower mileage. I was going to keep it but an Alpina came calling :

Thank you

And I thought the price stacked up pretty well against the Hexagon price which is the only point of reference in the market.
