Your car's fuel range display on a full tank
Discussion
The highest I've seen on the E90 320d/ED is 1105 miles, but the car had already travelled a few miles by that point.
It routinely shows enough miles on the range remaining + range since last fill that the total is >1000 miles.
It's actually really easy to get this so long as the motor is warm.

My 1.6hdi C4 coupe usually showed about 700 after a full load.
I got 690 out of a tank once.
Most of the time it was around 600 miles on a tank. It preferred NSL Aroads to motorways. Seemed perfectly geared to be frugal between 50-60mph. Once around 70 (or just over) economy wasn't as good. Felt like it needed an extra gear really.

What's this new-fangled "range display" thing you're all speaking of?
If you've got an onboard computer that tells you things like average, MPG, speed etc, chances are it'll show you 'miles until fuel tank empty'. When you fill it up, that's your range......and my range in a 1.6 petrol Chevy Cruze has never exceeded a paltry 254 miles if I'm lucky, of which of course I still get less as my driving is urban.
Range does not equate to how many miles you're able to actually drive on a full tank.

GR Yaris
50L tank, it usually says about 280 miles,
I usually get about 300 ish miles out of it, I did once get 325 on a frugal run, that was well into the red, when refilling, that was 45L
Got a bit to go 361 miles on 44.35L I’ve had out of it. Average for me now is 310 and it’s pretty accurate. 50L tank, it usually says about 280 miles,

Like you’ve mentioned it only shows 43.5L worth as 6.5L appears to be the reserve
