Terrible photo of a good painting. Roy Salvadori in his Aston Martin DBR1 at Le Mans in 1959.

I saw that a while back and seriously contemplated buying it.

Then I got into a "McLaren LM" picture search and found Jeremy Cliff a photographer in the USA who did a photoshoot with a F1 LM and a P1 LM

biggrin

He does Prints it seems but decided against it in the end because its car art and until I own an F1 (some chance! biggrin ) I felt it a little too cheesy for my flat

Not on the walls but lives in our living room.
Wife likes it so that’s good enough for me.

And one of a series of Automobilist GTO images opposite (the other three are in the garage)

Clearly I didn’t hang them upside down, no idea why the photos are like that!

I find it excellent and very well executed. I just don't know why anyone would have painted it!

It looks like a photo that has been through an app to make it look painted, then the photo has been printed onto a canvas.

I like Tim's work. Is that your own car as he'll put it in a picture for you.

Unfortunately car ‘art’ within the home screams ‘sad, single bloke’ . Just doesn’t feel right. Perhaps in a home office or garage but throughout the home seems odd. Sorry.
I've got a huge banner from Le Mans, and a large piece of the Classic Spa logo'd fencing material in the garage

then some poster prints of my car from competition wins in the study and office
