Browsing E34s, as I do, I've just found this. Yes, it's only the 518, but even they don't deserve that treatment. I hope the E23 in the background doesn't suffer the same fate!

It doesn’t have to be on a Q. Kit cars built on from new (not a reused beetle etc) can have a age related plate.

Thought I read somewhere is it was because of some guy who was a member of a motorbike club, lost his legs so couldn’t ride/use a trike so made a 3 wheeled pickup.
