This popped up in my Twitter feed for some reason, don't know if it's badly modified or not but anyway.

Sir, this is not a badly modified car;
this is:

I wouldn’t want to drive this too close to pedestrians in case the side skirts caught their ankles!

I can never understand when someone sinks so much money into a car then keeps it for a relatively short amount of time.

Looks like the same "Time Attack" replica from a couple of pages back although it's now listed with a trader. Seems to have gone up in price by a couple of £k as well.

I get that this is a render (though I wouldn't gave known). I wouldn't change a thing, I think it looks great!

why render it in St Marks Square in Venice, a city with no roads? I suppose adds to the mystique.

Any ideas what it is? With the closer together exhaust than usual my first thought was a mk5 Golf R32 or a mk1 TT 225, but I don't think it's either.

I was going to guess 1 or 3-series, erring towards the latter due to the space between the rear axle and bumper.
The rear suspension looks very similar to on my F20.

Certainly has a semi-trailing arm rear end, like an E30...

You are assuming that the pic is actually the rear of the car. By the look of that exhaust they could easily have lashed that to the front for the good it will do biggrin
