That would be a satisfying save. Buy it cheap due to all the tat and spend a day with a heat gun sorting it out.

I wonder if the owner considers it finished or is there room for some more badging and red vinyl?

A bodykit that appears to have been designed entirely by use of the smudge tool in photoshop.

Surely you'd also upgrade to a V10. Why only add two cylinders, when it's another couple of pounds to add four?

That keeps popping up in targeted adverts for me too. I do think it's much better looking than the standard car, and if they'd not blended the kit in with a spoon I reckon it'd be quite smart. If it was about half the price, didn't have such an unnerving MOT history, and didn't seem from the pictures to have been standing, rusting away, in that damp-looking corner, I might have been tempted as a random fun thing.

Is that for sale? If so I'd be horribly tempted to book a test drive and see how it coped with a few local speed bumps...evil
Lift the air ride up and it'll be fine...

What a pile of junk, with lunatic advertisment below.

Sorry but NO OFFERS on this as it has been substantially reduced to make way for new stock - do we kindly @ humbly ask you NOT to embarrass yourself or us by asking us - What’s the best / last or final price ? This is the only price we are looking to accept ! Wow what a car we have here - Truly one for not the faint hearted amongst you ! Genuinely VERY RARE HONDA CRX DEL SOL registered on a 1997 L REG with just 70 K what is believed to be in KM that equates to around 43 k miles ! These are very rare & even more rarer with such mileage & in the DEL SOL version of this beast of a motor. One for the FAST & FURIOUS die hard fans out there. Just passed its FULL 1 YEARS MOT & has recently had £500 spent on it. Fully HPI CLEAR with report. Previous mots & even had the cambelt change too ! Starts & drives well, but as you can see due to its looks & great looking arches, you have to be careful over the road humps & bumps ! Automatic with SLIDING ROOF that will definitely make you stand out from the crowd wherever you go ! These are becoming increasingly good value for your money & even more so with low mileage examples. Why be the same as everyone else when you can be different & have a blast from the romantic past ? Brand new this would have probably set you back in excess of £20 k - Has only done around 1700 miles per year, so grab a used bargain at this price ! Viewing BY APPOINTMENT ONLY - Part exchange welcome & nationwide delivery can be arranged too. Thank you. , Next MOT due 17/03/2022, Metallic ORANGE, £2,992

The @ sign does not mean what he thinks it does.

I have no idea if they're any good as cars, but I reckon with some spacers to justify the arches, lose the incontinence blanket off the bonnet and reseal the windscreen that's a decent looking, cheerful little car for, in current terms, not that much money.

This CRX is for sale, for £7995. There’s a clean standard one for sale for £35k, so this actually might be a bargain if you can get it back to standard for less than £27k, or leave it as it is if you are blind hehe

An Ayrton Senna tribute, with the airbrushed Muriels, some Senna S stickers, and embroidered seats. I’m sure the airbrush paint quality is fine, but its a no from me.

Might be confusing the Mk1/2 CRX there with the curvier targa style Mk3.

Ah - just realised. I was talking about the earlier badly modified car, didn’t see the later post. Apologies, as you were.

I've never had much if any exposure to these little Hondas before, and I actually quite like the look of them. Both the, er, bravely modified ones look better than that minter though. I don't think I could live with the paintwork on the Senna one, and it would seem like sacrilege to respray it, so I think I'd still have the first one. Any idea what they're like for tall drivers?

So what exactly does 'SM' stand for, in that orange Honda CRX advert?
