That thing is going to need sterilising before anyone can go near it lol
I dread to think....

I assume it’s some level of insurance write off.
Have genuinely seen many worse old Range Rovers. 'Celeb' owner notwithstanding, I like it.

Tragic grills all round
Not sure if anyone is aware, but those Ford grilles have a specific relevance.

Typically you find them on F-150 pick-ups, but you only get the big letter one on the Raptor models. So there is a pretty big aftermarket in replacing F-150 fronts to look like Raptors. However, clearly 'Ford' is trademarked and in this particular style and format, its something that Ford themselves want to protect. So you cant (well you can, if you look around) find these grilles for sale - Ford legal is all over the online places, so you will find them misspelt or missing a letter, which will oddly be delivered in a separate package to avoid the legal trouble.

Reason to mention this? Someone went to a lot of trouble to get that Ford logo on a non-standard part. Which makes it even more tragic....

hehe

They didn’t go that much trouble, a quick search on eBay and they’re available from UK sellers with the FORD script for about £200

Yep. As mentioned a few pages back, when it was confirmed the car was a Kuga not a Ranger, it's an item originally produced in the US for their own aftermarket modified scene (probably by one of the approved Ford modifiers over there) before getting copied / knocked off by the cheap Chinese manufacturers / exporters that now ship worldwide for about £100 odd or sell via resellers on eBay, AliExpress, etc - none of which seem to be deleting a letter from the text.

Ooh, almost perfectly awful - just needs "lambo" doors.

Sensible decision.

That is fabulously of its time!
Looks like a decent job even if it’s awful by todays standards.

I really wouldn’t mind spending the summer swanning about in that.

MX5 - my issue with it is not the quality (it does look to be a very high standard) rather that, IMO, the proportions are just 'off'

Thing is with the megane, in modern times im sure we've all seen a lot worse looking with nowhere near as much spent on it, stick on chrome tat, sport badges, ebay spoilers and plastic lips. At least this was very fitting in its time smile

Not sure what it is about celicas that seems to attract terrible mods, its the only car that i really think needs to stay 100% standard (maybe the odd TRD kit)

third
I sort of respect how much effort the third person went in order to do something as ridiculous as to move the celica engine from the front to the rear.

I know this car. It's owned by my brother's girlfriend's friend's uncle. This is a Celica bodykit on a Ferrari 360 and it's a top-quality conversion. They've even put the Toyota badge on the steering wheel for authenticity.
