I'm also looking at the Mini to replace OH Leon FR...
The only problem is convincing the missus that the range is adequate for her. I made some quick maths and it comes out that on average she drives a whooping 11 miles per day and I can't remember that she drove more than 50 miles at once in the past 15 years

BUT she feels range might be a problem

I have to sell it on the looks

Oh, yes she's perfectly fine with the Leon, it's me who needs a new car... but it has to be her decision

It’s certainly pretty bloody sporty, ok it’s a bit lardier than an ICE Cooper S, but performance is absolutely comparable.

I'm looking at it, also because the local Seat dealer is a very good friend and for family and company we've already bought 7 or 8 cars from him, however wife likes the Mini... and the Born is actually bigger to what we're looking for.

When I swapped it for the F82 M4 I couldn't stop looking at that at first, and I said to my mrs that it is nice to have a car that is a lot easier on the eyes than the Mini was.

That was my understanding. MINI pitched it at the Cooper S level rather than have an entry level Eco car.

From certain angles they are hard to look at IMHO but overall i didnt mind the looks of mine. I think they worked better in certain colour combos too.

This is a good idea, local dealer hasn't any available, but I'll try to look at others nearby.

I saw a lovely starlight blue one earlier with the bigger wheels, and it did catch my eye in a positive way I thought.

I'm living a little further south, but I've found the relevant page on the Italian site. Seemingly a dealer not too far has one available

Seen, driven, ordered... now let's see when it arrives

Saleswoman said that you can pre-heat the car before driving, program charging time when at home etc... is all this available by app?

Congratulations, neighbour has one and really likes it, uses it much more than his iPace.

Have a look at the “MINI” app, the BMW equivalent (My BMW) works pretty well in my experience.
