Mrs Gaspode was very attached to the Fiat 500 TwinAir that our Min-E is replacing. The test drive converted her immediately. Her attitude to maybe having to stop to recharge somewhere is "Oh good, I can take my Kindle and have a quiet read while I wait".

I made some simple maths to take the fear of range off her:
30.000 Km in 8 and a half years = ~550 Km / month
550 Km / month = ~19 Km / day

With an average range of 160 km (230 officially stated by Mini) she'd have to recharge less than once a week.
Considering that the car's staying in the garage at night, she'd actually only have to plug it to top-up when she returns home to get the full range available again the next day.
