Surefire future classic imo!

(expensive, limited sales volume, stunning looks, and had huge early depreciation. The hard bit though is going to be accurately estimating when they have reached rock bottom and be ready to jump in before they rise again......)

I think it shows just how much BMW have lost their mojo in the last few years. I3 and I8 were way ahead of the curve but they were NOT commercial successes.

They seemed to lose their confidence since then. Design has gone seriously odd ball ( especially the grill ) and they seem to have become a follower where once they were a leader. And I am writing as someone who has enjoyed 6 of them over the years.

Very sad but also slightly strange.... Hard to understand why they have got it so wrong.

3 series interior Pug engine pile of pooh. As in Winnie the Pooh? Not as bad as the N13 Prince engine. The 3cyl is a lot better.
Slow with terrible handling and zero EV range. Eh? Not slow (4.4 seconds to 60, 155mph), not terrible handling, and a 23 mile EV range (not zero).
So not a ‘sports car or an EV’. A hybrid maybe? Definitely a sports car. Not a repmobile, not a saloon, not a people carrier.
So what ‘was’ it? Desirable to some people, and nowhere near as bad as you think it was.

Just out of curiosity, what is your experience based on? Ownership? Leasing? Hiring? Driving? Looking? Genuine question.
Why the downer on the i8?

Just my educated opinion. Looking at your ‘garage’. What do you think? No offence.

I went to have a good look round one recently as was semi-interested, could not really get passed the interior being so similar to that in my i3 not really special enough for a special car especially given how amazing the rest of the car is, I probably should have still taken it for a drive but didn't want to waste the salesman's time.

A friend of mine had one and one of these days I will go out for a spin with him as I really like the looks and concept of the car.

Sorry, what? Do you have issues with writing coherently? Your last few posts above have been strange (particularly the one where you quoted yourself). New to forums, or past your bedtime?

You tell me (something tells me you're going to). I've made an effort & put my 'garage' up there. Feel free to do the same.

At least bflemming has a garage listed, unlike you who has come on here spouting utter codswallop about a car you've never driven and has no cars listed in your profile. I call troll.

Why did you sell the 4c?

Any pictures? Details other than 'shed', like 'bought it new, lost £30k in 6 weeks, couldn't get Radio Solent', something along those lines.

Why did you sell the 4c?
Alfa Romeo didnt build mine correctly basically and i lost interest in stopping it falling to bits! Which was a shame as it was a beautiful car.

The two lotus cars ive owned were both MILES better than the 4C.

But im glad i owned it, life is a rich tapestry.

I’ve heard that from others. Such a shame and in some ways like the I8 opportunity lost.
Mc owner so know about these things🥳.
Lotus we also have a type 25 which I’ll post if I can !
