Picked up my first one in 1990

The handling was awful, I was convinced there was something wrong with mine.

Turned out the garage had fitted the cheapest tyres they could find.

Fitted some good ones and transformed the car.

Fond memories, that car felt very special in it's day.

Good to see the Puma getting a few mentions. I was booked in for a test drive in one when they first came out...but sadly something came up and I couldn't make it. I'm still very fond of them.

I've not driven one but I've been a passenger in one, and it definitely felt like the best handling car I'd been in.

Accord Type R- great for a saloon matched by Accord Euro R.

Type R was a bit more "raw" overall Euro R great all rounder as a comparison.

Maybe not the most fun, but best handling by far.

Elise but as mentioned my Clio Trophy was very good. I would say 106 GTI was more fun though

RX8, have driven cars that on paper should have handled better but none have, think it's due to the weight and location of the engine.

I've driven all of those, couldn't gel with the Elise, interestingly (or not!) or the VX220. I know what you mean about the 106 smile
