I've played DCG a few times recently, really wanted the evo 6 a few weeks ago.

Seen they put a Nova on today and its sold out almost straight away.

I buy them occasionally as well and I've entered the UK million pound house one.

Me entering free isn't stopping anybody else donating though. rotate

yes but as you out it 'spamming' a charity, well that's not really on is it.

Well legitimately entering the sweepstake for free then, I wasn't actually spamming anything. I don't think I'll upset a computer.

I think as a percentage of the population it may be disproportionate, but might be just down to the luck of the draw or it my be a popular with that demographic and that is shown in the results ?

Also, I get the impression a lot of young British Muslim males are big petrolheads, and will, if they are devout not be spending on boozing so may be more likely to put a few quid on this ? But then, isnt gambling a sin as well ?

The odds on some of these comps are pretty rubbish, but I keep finding myself entering. I guess it's worth the odd fiver or so to have a couple of days of dreaming.

Some of these companies must be absolutely raking it in - I see a couple that do massive cash draws (i.e. £20,000) every couple of days and sell 10,000 tickets at £3, it's almost like printing money.

Indeed, however they'll be quick to tell any "haters" in the comments section that it costs a lot to advertise you know!
