'interesting' that Dream Car seems to have vastly dropped the amount of cars they're giving away....
They're doing a move to a new site and payment provider next week, so don't have any competitions past this Sunday at the moment.KingNothing said:
"if you're a nineties rally boy like I was", says the 20 year old! no 780bhp Mustang for me!
How many postals are you all sending per car? I don’t want to take the piss really so I’ve bought the odd ticket then sent maybe 7/8 postals off. Just had a couple through with Revs for the 335D but they’ve been really hit & miss. Elite haven’t processed many at all so I’ve stopped there.

Only 7Days and DCG accept multiples according to their T&Cs, if you've been getting them through anywhere else I'd suggest it's just lucky they've not noticed. Most I've ever sent to 7Days for one comp is 4 I think, all processed. Never tried multiples with DCG.How many postals are you all sending per car? I would also add that I stumbled across an instagram video the other day, the plate rang a bell........:

However I would add, the car a friend won with them was beyond exceptional condition - utterly mint and enthusiast owned.

Ouch! Would be good to know which comp site this is. I certainly won’t be spending my money with them.
I wasn’t sure if we were allowed to on the forum? The name is the opposite of “Fall Competitions”
Rev Comps are running £5 comps with 12x £2000 winners on a profit free basis on a regular basis up till Christmas (the first one has just sold out), 4999 tickets per draw. £1k goes to charity, so I imagine with transaction fees they are actually running these at a small loss.
I know there is some confusion around odds in this thread, so this is an interesting reversal of the usual argument about increasing your odds by buying multiple tickets.
They draw 12 numbers, one at a time, so 1 entry gives you odds of 1:4999 for the first draw, then 1:4998 for the second draw, then 1:4997, 1:4996 and so on until 12 balls have been drawn.
It does not mean you have a 12:4999 chance of winning, or, if maxing out (10 tickets), it definitely does not mean you have a 1 in 42 chance of winning!

Also looks like Silverstone Dream Cars are about to raffle a Maserati that DCG previously raffled.

Elite now claim (in their latest Trustpilot smackdown) that they receive 500 postcards a day.
Knowing that every single postal entry is allocated to the back end of draw numbers, that's "unlikely" to say the least.
With the 48hr turnaround, the removal of Friday draws and late publishing of Saturday draws , there aren't even that many comps that you can technically get an entry in for on a weekly basis now.
At a push they've accepted about 70 entries across their big two car comps live at the moment (and they've been live for weeks).

Not all raffle pages are equal… Quite shocking this!
Guessing it’s been in Ireland for a while as the UK MOT history stops at 2011. No way that’d pass a proper UK test as it sits.
