Anybody won one of those car lotteries?
Discussion
I now know 4 other people who've won off DCG as well as myself.
One won a Mini JCW - not sure if he still has it
Another won an 18 plate RRS - he traded it in for a brand new Izuzu Arctic Truck plus some cash back from the dealer.
One of my close mates won a V10 R8 a few weeks ago. He bought 10 tickets which cost him £120, and is a farmer... so you can imagine what condition it's in already
And another won both a gaming bundle (TV Xbox PS5 & surround sound) and also a tool box full of tools a few months later.

What’s the deal with best of the best heard some ppl cal it a scam and recently the same guy seemed to win apparantly with all the raffle companies, think there was a big story on ph about it or lots of comments anyway
It's not a scam, it's a spot the ball competition from what I remember but the reason I never play is there's no limit of entrants as far as I know, the cars on display are just what you could win but only one is won and if it's a cheaper car (someone with a cheap ticket ) they've potentially made millions selling a golf. The other companies are fixed odds so set number of tickets , set price per ticket. The companies profit per car of course but you can roughly work out how much by to see if it's a good deal. For instance selling 20ks worth of tickets for a 10k car is not worth a ticket (in my opinion)

RevComps also incredibly bad for allowing postal entries.
Are you following their new T&Cs (account number and email at the top of the entry)? Since the site redesign they've processed all but one of mine, but they always do it fairly last minute, an hour or two before the draw, regardless of how early you get the entry in. Thankfully they almost never sell out until the last hour anyway.Elite are consistently the worst for me, barely 50% of entries processed, but some of them are absurdly high value so I find it's always worth a cheeky punt (had quite a few entries processed for comps that cost £30-50+). I sent one for the £88 entry Focus RS the other day but not expecting it to get through at all.
7 Days Performance have processed 99.9% of mine during the past year (probably 100+ entries), which just proves the postal system does work and in theory entries more than likely are actually making it through to the others too. DCG have been pretty patchy, periods when they won't do them at all (intern on annual leave?!) but then other periods where everything goes through fine, even for high cost low odds comps.
