Meanwhile, I’ve just seen Rev Comps has got a gorgeous 80’s Merc 500SL….
yeah - quite tempted with that one For others the Aston @ 2,000:1 seems as good a chance as any (I'm not a fan of black or manuals so I'm out) but £25 is quite a high bar for a little fun...

Thought those on here might like to hear from a recent winner?! Won the Audi Etron Launch Edition on DCG last night, can't quite believe it. Haven't been a big spender, probably averaging about 10/20 quid a month for last few months; postal when expensive entries, and occasional online entry when not too dear. Generally only pick 1 or 2 cars a month and spend 5/10 pounds per car, and had actually cut down recently and not done one in a while.
Anyway, when I entered there wasn't even a cash alternative, and just wanted the car, but cash alternative offered a few days later and now reality hitting and not sure what to do (really nice dilemma to have, I know!). I have a cheap Focus Estate lease about to start middle of September, and obviously would far rather the Audi, but also looking work done to the house, so thinking the cash may win out. Might take the car for now and then sell in few weeks once decided. WBAC estimate on car is higher then cash alt anyway (assuming accurate!)
Take the car and the £1500. My mate who won an R8 & £5k ran it for a year and sold it for £63.5k I think (was £65k cash alt)Anyway, when I entered there wasn't even a cash alternative, and just wanted the car, but cash alternative offered a few days later and now reality hitting and not sure what to do (really nice dilemma to have, I know!). The Civic I won came with a grand and was £10k cash alt. Sold it back to DCG 9 months later for £10500

Redline's M5 seems to be cracking value, as far as competitions go. It has done 86,000 miles though.
99p x 24,999 (Sale price, will go up to 1.99 but that's irrelevant if you're buying now and will just slow down purchases so a good thing)
20k Cash Alternative.

That's probably the lowest mark up car competition live at the moment, surely??? especially as I doubt they will sell out.
I am tempted to buy a few I must say....

It is but likewise it's running for a month. Interesting to see how that does these days vs the fast turnaround draws the others haveI am tempted to buy a few I must say....
Slightly off topic but worth bearing in mind WBAC won't buy a vehicle that hasn't been in your ownership for a minimum of 3 months - not sure if Motorway et al are the same but worth considering if their offers are over the cash alternative and you plan on selling immediately, wouldn't be an issue with a dealer mind.
Great win on the Audi - I'm in for a few tonight, but I'm starting to spend more than I like. Been playing almost 3 years on DCG without a win!

Congrats on the etron. I don't usually enter these comps (last one I entered was for the yellow Hartech'd 997) but something about the etron took my fancy so I stuck £10 in.Anyway, when I entered there wasn't even a cash alternative, and just wanted the car, but cash alternative offered a few days later and now reality hitting and not sure what to do (really nice dilemma to have, I know!). R34 GTR is nice but not a keeper and certainly not a car id like to use as good as it maybe.
However if it was stock - engine wise atleast I may take a punt. Them cars are big bills, although its kool saying your rocking around in a stroked engine until it goes wrong.
the other way of looking at it is to enjoy it until it (inevitably?) goes 'boom' and then sell as a rolling resto project - I rather suspect it'll still fetch reasonable coin then.
