I've grabbed a couple of tickets for the Atom on 7 days, another one I think you could keep running for relative pennies and it would just appreciate in value.

At only 1.5 bar it's not very highly strung, I would imagine as long as properly looked after it will last a long time.

DCG have a right line up at the moment.

Mk1 Ford Escort on 48 dcoe's
Nissan Skyline R34
Liquid Yellow Clio 182

I make it £410 if I entered the maximum entries on those 3!

R34 GTR is nice but not a keeper and certainly not a car id like to use as good as it maybe.
However if it was stock - engine wise atleast I may take a punt. Them cars are big bills, although its kool saying your rocking around in a stroked engine until it goes wrong.
A chap on Instagram, ben_scenemedia, (photographer for Top Gear) has one that was running similar power.
He suffered from a detonated engine and documents that it has cost him an absolute fortune, never ending it seems.

Most of the time this is purely down to poor mapping or using an old style ecu with no fail safes.

this is mapped by the best guy for an RB

Hopefully comes with £10k cash so you can afford to drive it home.

I'd definitely take the cash over the Trackhawk. Really not my thing at all.

Not sure I see the appeal of the track hawk myself! Would be too big and fast for any fun in twisty roads, would just lose your licence with all our cameras in a straight line!

Hence why the Clio on DCG is my pick of the week.

It's literally perfect isn't it - Love the interior details.

Out of interest what is the general feeling about winning a classic if you haven't got a garage. Would you pay for storage or just let it get wet, maybe not drive it on the salty roads and hope that's enough.

It looks so perfect I wouldn't want to get any dirt on it!

Ha - Totally, but it's a car you could have more fun with at slower speeds/twisties which you simply couldn't achieve in the track hawk.
