In for the DCG VW van, that would be a keeper.
It's literally perfect isn't it - Love the interior details.

Out of interest what is the general feeling about winning a classic if you haven't got a garage. Would you pay for storage or just let it get wet, maybe not drive it on the salty roads and hope that's enough.

It looks so perfect I wouldn't want to get any dirt on it!
It would get properly rust proofed, parked outside and used every day in the fashion it was designed for. Dogs, bikes, days away.

A chap on Instagram, ben_scenemedia, (photographer for Top Gear) has one that was running similar power.
He suffered from a detonated engine and documents that it has cost him an absolute fortune, never ending it seems.
Mark owns the R34. I've been out in it, its truly savage!

I realised it was Mark when I checked Insta after I posted that.
Lucky you, it looks insane.
In for a huge shell rebuild at moment it appears?

Monky London is raffling the pink max power escort , pretty cool bit of UK history but not sure it’s something I’d want on the drive

If that was wrapped in white with a motorsport-style livery it'd look fantastic

£100 a pop with no end date, that could run for a while.

That could be 2:1 odds and £1 a ticket I'd still not enter. hurl

Yeah, agreed yes

From my perspective, the colour is huge part of what makes this car special.

Hmmm, well I am looking for a new family car!...

biggrin

(The fuel cost would be disastrous but it would be fun to run for a bit just to experience)

That's right, some lovely work too. I'm having my GTR done by the same team so I've been able to see Mark's 34 go through its processes and also how I was able to go out in the car. The paintwork on it now is stunning.

Any postal entry folks print their postcards to save time? I've been playing round with my ipad and pencil and put together what I think is a pretty good (and convincing) template, should make entering much easier. All handwritten.

Can we just take a moment to talk about the blatant shutting out of free postal entries for that competition and their attempt to dodge the issue?

HOW DO I WIN -
You are purchasing a super sick Monky London gift set picked at random by Monky! With every gift set purchased you will gain an entry into the Max Power Project 2000 competition! The more you buy, the higher your chances are of winning!

We will send your merchandise gift set(s) via recorded delivery with your allocated ticket number(s), we will also email your ticket number(s) to you. Ticket numbers are chosen at random and are logged against your orders.

HOW MANY ENTRIES -
500 entries total (max 30 per person) - Website entries only

Just be sure to check the T & C thoroughly because if you don't follow them to a tee you entry will be void. Some do say it has to be a handwritten postcard.

Has anyone used Pristine Competitions. They have a G82 M4 and X5 on offer. Gut feeling is that they don't process postals.
