5 mins this morning, i didnt go back any further in detail. The name keeps popping up on almost every car comp, i didnt check the others.

11 RS6 2 Oct
13 Evo 8 2 Oct
2 106 Rallye 28 Sep
21 Golf R 28 Sep
31 RS3 26 Sep
25 RS4 26 Sep
3 Supra 23 Sep
1 R32 21 Sep
5 RS3 21 Sep

etc etc

Still, with the RS6 win, its clearly worked out.
It's worked out for him... I bet there are others with a LOT more outlay who've won nothing
Well yes... this is gambling... a few win... everyone else loses.

its crazy to process how much people spend. That lad (names slipped out of my mind) who won on 7days multiple cars and a watch nailed wins on DCG the last few months, checking his play history (sad i know) he was tanking near max tickets on every draw. Its such a huge outlay and risk, i suppose this is what gambling / addiction is all about!

Im in for the Lotus on DCG and porsche on Revs (two tickets on the porsche). Personally I feel like i'm spending to much, its a drop in the ocean compared to what most people spend.

Id like to think these people have alot more disposable income but if that was the case you'd save up and buy your dream car? I can honestly see these raffles causing huge financial difficulty for people!

Is that the number of tickets he has bought to the left of each car?

That's not that much if it is.

I remember one of the multiple winners for the bikes on Rev Comps. He also won on the bonus comp at the end of the week (each ticket buys an entry to the comp on the Monday) but that was because IIRC he had 65 entries!

Yep, not a massive outlay really, some of those are only 99p a ticket

This is only 1 week of comps though.

A good few of those were £10 a ticket (or close as with rounding)

RS6, Supra from memory were £10
i think the R32 was £20

So i make it over £300 in a week of play.

Seems a lot to me anyway.

Hi, and afternoon all!

Came across this thread after doing a lot of research of Alpha 4C over the last day or so.....and taking my username into account it may not be a surprise that I won Rev Comps 4C on Monday evening!

Very surreal moment having the phone call from them, even more so when I had not really thought about the 4C and had my sights set on the 718 Spyder.

Was shown Rev Comps at the start of the year and had played on and off when something of interest was up for grabs. My total spend on there amounts to £278 over 10 months so not a bad return on investment!

Anyway, hi to all and will no doubt be doing a reader's rides thread when the car arrives.

Congratulations, that's an epic win! I've been using revcomps for a couple of years now and spent a lot more than you without winning so much as a hoodie but that's the luck of the draw. Great to hear about winners, especially the big prizes like that.

It was the amount of times he's won that I was expressing shock at, not the number of entries - which in the scheme of things, are relatively low.

agreed, winning so much with such few tickets brings out the conspiracy theorist in me!

Congratulations!

I look forward to reading your Readers' Cars thread on it.

Any thoughts on whether you'll get the Alfaworkshop chassis fixes?:

biggrin I was telling someone of the Rev Comps Tracer 9 GT cock up and blue/lilac Boxster this morning so knowing of a winner of the 4C has brightened my day, and will make the cup of tea I've just made taste sweeter.

I'm hoping the car has had the chassis issues fixed already, if not it'll definitely be getting them done. Might get a remap done too depending on how quick/fast it feels. Performance figures are very similar to my Mustang GT but i'm sure the experience will be completely different.

Also undecided on the wrap at the moment. I'm going to see what it's like in person first and maybe keep it on over the winter for a bit of protection
