Doesn't do it for me, but I have bought a ticket for the Exige and 911, plus one for the 340 Touring as winning one would be the only way my partner would let us have one for the family car!

That exige was for sale on here for £37k a few weeks ago. Looked at utter bargain given komotec bits too. I was tempted but don’t like yellow (although the price point made me consider a respray or wrap) but the auto box finalised my decision to stay out.

The 911 was my friends car, literally needs nothing he spent a load getting it the mintest it's ever been and then sold it to DCG.

Naturally I'm going to get tickets (as is he tbf!)

Yeah it's an odd spec, and I don't have 37k, but for £4.30 I'm game for a roll of the dice.

Equally if they sell all the tickets, they net £55k. Which is bad for a 37k car. You can see the business model.

Ha. Win your old car back! Nice to know they are reasonable cars not just all budget bin snotters that have had a polish up.

524hp Civic EG on DCG

I hate playing their cheap ticket/big odds competitions but there is no way I’m missing out on a chance for that one!
Looks good fun but I'm more drawn to the supercharged Clio.

Hi, I was the wrong winner of the Tracer 900GT, the real winner was just getting off a warship in Portugal and was heading home. I am currently out in Spain on a bike tour and this would have come in very handy if it was a week before.

Robbie stood by his mistake and my prize has been received.
Congratulations, I've told several people about it including two relatives in Devon mid-week.

Any thoughts on the Superb Giveaways RS500 comp. Added an extra month as the ticket sales were low so I think they were in for a 90k loss. Also added a £15k prize if it still doesn’t reach their ticket sale threshold (if I’ve read it right?) Loads of post on FB

I think they’ve reduced the number of tickets too so better odds.

Can understand from both sides here but I don’t think DCG/Revs/Redline etc would do it. 90k loss though!! That’s a big hit

Still getting a ticket though, RS500 these don’t pop up often! cool

A hard no whenever this appears in the T&Cs...

5.7 If We do not reach Our Threshold for a Competition, We shall decide whether or not to extend the Closing Date. If We decide not to extend the Closing Date or if We extend the Closing Date but still do not reach the Threshold, We may then withdraw the Prize and any Cash Alternative which We have advertised. In such circumstances, we shall offer a substitute prize, which shall be a cash payment equivalent to 80% of the net revenue which We have earned from the Competition after deducting our card processing/transaction fees and any taxes.

What kind of auto is it ? Can't be an auto like in my mum's old Opel Manta.

Is it some paddle-shift thing ?

Having had to sell my exige earlier this year I also have a few tickets, but, if I won I’d definitely give the auto a shot (but be looking at the costs of manual conversion)

I didn’t actually notice the exige was an auto, tbh I didn’t even know you could spec one with an auto, can’t be many autos about.

Read the thread a bit and skipped to the end; does the postal entry route still work these days?

I've just bought a few tickets for the golf E45 on DCG.

Always liked the "edition" series of golf GTIs. The golfRs are bot true hot hatches IMO as they're 4wd, which is cheating.
