PH members should get a DCG discount..Every time I open this thread it ends up costing money.

Just had a punt on the 992, the orange RS3, MK1 Escort and the MSRT Transit.
Maybe PH members should set up a syndicate and take turns with the winning car…. I shotgun the month of June.
Personally I’ve always thought PH missed a trick by never running a similar competition itself.

A Lotus would make an awesome prize. If only.

But we don’t talk about it.

Yes I did think of that Elise raffle when I wrote my post.

But outside of that disappointment, I would have thought a paid for raffle would have been an obvious move for a site with a pre-existing target audience in its grip.

That Mk1 Escort is gorgeous. I wish I had somewhere to store it but it would get stolen or rot on my drive.
It is stunning but I'm not entering for similar reason.
I just don't know when I'd ever use it. Maybe 1 or 2 local shows in summer?
I wouldn't trust it enough to go on a long hoon with it.

Most of the successful sites have grown out of existing car culture channels/sites. Need a big audience to hit the ground running really.

Am I missing a parrot? 7 days performance, rev comps etc? Versus PH with how many members who all aspire to performance cars?

I was agreeing with you, quite a few sites came off of big Facebook pages etc, PH would have been perfect.

Ah ok - soz. Yes, seems PH missed a trick although seems the marketplace for these sites is far from saturation point.

It pains me to say I’ve yet again won some credit on Rev Comps.

Interesting that the Mother of the 19 year old lad that won the RS3 a week ago (insurance quotes with five figures do he’s selling it) bought her first tickets and won the Aprillia Tuono 1100 and £1000 tonight! Lucky family.

News for the freeloaders: first class stamps going to £1.10 in April. I can't see how 99p comps can stay the same, but I'm sure they will...

Someone on a smaller instant win site won a car this week and said they had won a car the previous week on Revcomps. Pure luck!

Incredibly lucky.

Some people are mad though and buy a lot. Sure even if you max your tickets, your chances are still low, but it helps I guess.

For example, my brother in law admitted spending £360 on dream car giveaways this year so far, and over double that on Revcomps.

My Mrs would kill me.

I won!! Well I won £25 of Revcomps credit which will more than likely be ploughed straight back into the same competition I won it from.
