I can't find any winners list looking like that, with a brief visit to their site. Someone care to guide me?

Wonder if that is Sam Clucas the Stoke City footballer who won the £5,000 cash
I remember noticing his name down for the maximum number of entries on a Rolex a while back and I wondered if it was him.

That is absolutely astounding, either incredibly lucky or pumping unfathomable amounts of cash into the comps...

On the 99p comp, 200k entries 500 prizes, 55 wins incl 5 of the 8 'jackpot' prizes

no proper regulation, they can do what they want, who would audit them, who would check them, yet millions still chucked at them?

How does he get around the 200 max limit or just multiple accounts with same name?

I'd imagine it just lets you order 200 at a time rather than actually limiting it!

There seems to be no limit in the T&C just the amount you can put in your basket in one go.

Elite tend to price their competitions (total gross income) at about double the prize value. If that fella has average luck, he has maybe spent £100k to win that £50k ish across those 3 competitions, which have been live less than a week.

Of course may have spent significantly more, may have spent significantly less.

I'm obviously being dim here - but how can something be 'not won'?

Think it's from like an instant draw type comp with multiple prizes, so as they're won; the winner comes up, but if the winning ticket hasn't been bought yet, it comes up not won until it is.

Has anyone set aside a significant portion of cash to go all in?

Talking a couple of grand. See what happens?

Remarkable loophole that these sites can take thousands with no checks when you consider the William Hill story today. And all because they (claim to) accept postal entries...

Yep, I've said before this is gambling no matter how you look at it.

Do wonder if there will be a crackdown on these sort of comp sites sometime.

I know people complain about us 'freeloaders' sending postals in and moaning that they are never accepted. But the simple fact is these sites don't exist without it, hopefully we will see a clampdown soon as it's gone from pretty bad to widespread non-compliance in that respect over the past 18 months.

Seems like a law or legal loophole to allow small raffles to be run has been absolutely abused of late yes.

I genuinely think these are a convenient money laundering outfit, either for those that buy tickets or for the companies themselves.

DCG and Redline are in my experience, near enough fully compliant with postal entries and so that’s where I also spend my money too.

I am intrigued as to how elite will manage the postal entries for instant wins - I bought one to see what happens and it almost has a ‘thinking about it’ loading screen to see if you’ve won. Their updated t&c suggest you have the same chance by post or online for instant wins but again it’s all based on trust.

Justin Line is a very lucky boy!
DCG seems to be the only 'trustworthy' site left. Although not sure what I am basing my trust on! I avoid all sites with instant wins on these days which is most of them now.

I get pissed off when I spend £5-10 and lose. Which is why I'm not a habitual and consistent gambler - I'm far too tight.

No way I'd blow £2k on one of these sites.

You'd squint at a 480p live feed 8pm Sunday evening of someone using Google's 'random' number generator and in the 0.2s it takes between clicking the button to the number appearing on the screen, you'll go from "yes it could be me driving that Huracan to Monaco next month" to "well that's that, then... except I'm £2k in the hole".

Saw them on facebook, I'd likely go broke keeping them on the road but they are very cool.
