I get pissed off when I spend £5-10 and lose. Which is why I'm not a habitual and consistent gambler - I'm far too tight.Talking a couple of grand. See what happens?
No way I'd blow £2k on one of these sites.
Elite have released another instant win - The outcome so far suggests that prize allocation is not at all random.
https://elitecompetitions.co.uk/competitions/pound...
You can see at this early stage that there is a huge block of adjacent prizes that have already been won (low value).
If number allocation was random, this would be spread across the whole list.
I wonder if this is intentional as the big prizes seemed to go quickly last time.

There are lot more of the £10 credits than the higher tier prizes which will mean they're more likely to be drawn. That said, it's all very sus imo
Each one has a unique number though, so take away the name of the prize if each individual prize has the same odds of being drawn then the winning tickets should be spread. In the two screen shots there are the same number of prizes in each, one screenshot has none, the other loads.
To me that means the winning ticket numbers are not random and are weighted towards lower prizes.

Good point, perhaps they allocate the prize after the number is picked then which is dodgy afIn the two screen shots there are the same number of prizes in each, one screenshot has none, the other loads.

Doesn't look suspicious to me, just very poor odds. Site credit is not a prize imo.
I think people don't appreciate how poor of a deal odds of 750 in 200k are. Look at the prizes too. Only a few decent cash prizes. You might win some scratchcards or lottery tickets though? Extremely poor, but people are spending hundreds on it.

Have another look through the prize list. By the looks of it, the winning tickets go to the top of each section. Take a look at the Sonos speakers for example, the two that have been won are above the ones still waiting. Scroll below the £10 size credit wins and there are hundreds still waiting.Brainpox said:

Ah perhaps that’s it then - that makes sense. It seemed almost too bad to be true. I think I shall stay away regardless!

Yeah I posted this earlier, you could use a credit card on some of these 'free comp' sites too, just to hammer home how unregulated it is (any sort of credit is illegal on actual gambling sites).Very, very easy to spend more than £20k in 24hrs on free comps.

It's definitely a matter of time before these competitions come under the scope of regulation.

All sounds like extra steps for no reason other than to further dilute or conceal the odds?UP - MyAccount-Le = Level up, the guys who gave away the Officially gassed 911 Turbo

Level Up - Surprised anyone is interested in their site after the stunt they pulled on that 911

The expected return on these sites is rubbish. Fun for a 'what if' flutter but you'd genuinely be better off spaffing it on roulette if you're out for an 'investment'.Talking a couple of grand. See what happens?

I only joined Level Up for the 911 (well the £100k tbh as I would have killed myself in that car and it would be a money pit to maintain at that level) and certainly won't be rushing back. They now have the R32 up that was featured on OG recently. I seem to recall Jamie knows the owner of Level Up (but I may have misread that). 99p tickets also sound great but the odds are crazy. That's why I stick with Rev Comps for low & clear odds, drawn no matter how few sold = far more transparent (I know a few say they stopped handling postal entries but tbh that doesn't bother me in the slightest).Level Up - Surprised anyone is interested in their site after the stunt they pulled on that 911
