It’s being delivered tomorrow! Pictures will follow 😁

As for a previous question, it was the first time I’ve entered.

Still f*cking unreal.

I’ve never won a bloody thing...then about a year ago I won a Sonos, Xbox, TV bundle on DreamCar Giveaways, the I won a Clio 197 track car from them in October!

Couldn’t quite believe it, however I only ever enter low odds raffles (TV was 900 tickets, I bought 3 at £2.99 each. Clio was 400 tickets, I bought 2 at £20 each)

They seem very well setup and going very well, can’t say I’m complaining smile

I’m gonna keep it for now and use it as a daily so I can get the most out of it.

I’ll have to see how much it’ll cost me to run!

Luckily insurance is under £600 for the year!

Don’t. We all bought our first ticket once!

I have dropped £150 or so on DCG during lockdown. Had 4 tickets last night. Didn’t win anything (yet)

I think if nothing else, having a ticket just fuels a bit of day-dreaming for me about what it would be like to win, a bit like having a Euromillions ticket but with much better odds and less chance I'll end up dead by drug overdose or mariticide (I had to look that one up).

Defo. Also the odds of the legit ones are really good. I don’t need to enter BOTB to win something amazing I’d have to sell straight on!

Must be a great feeling and glad it is a pher so we can live the dream, even if it it is vicariously.

That's pretty much all I'm in it for. I don't even go for the big ticket ones (daydreaming about having a Ferrari that I can't afford to dent is not a fun daydream...), just stuff like the Yaris GRMN and BBR MX5's...

I think they have plenty of interesting stuff on DCG that had pretty good odds. All nice petrol head stuff and classics. Makes a nice change to some of the truly exotic stuff that costs a fortune to buy tickets for.

And yeah, running costs is a huge factor. As much as I’d like a Ferrari, Lamborghini or Porsche, I don’t much fancy having to get it serviced at stupid prices.

I do realise the RS4 ain’t much better though laugh

I don't know, I think if I won something like that GT3 a few weeks back I'd have probably run it for a year and made the most of having it, then sold it and bought something like a Cayman or Caterham for a 3rd of the cost, putting the rest of the money somewhere sensible.

Only enhanced in the knowledge that other pistonheads helped pay for it smile

Enjoy your winnings.

I was thinking the same but like with the Escort Cosworth I’d be torn about keeping and using on dry sunny days or just garaging or even selling straight off (stunned at the price they’re moving for at the moment!)
