I had the same thought process and swapped a 129 for a 124 cabriolet. You’d only let your kids spend time in the back if you didn’t like them.
How was the 129 you viewed this week? wink

I’ve had two e30’s. Both used to kick sideways in the wet when changing down from 4th to 3rd even with no throttle applied. Good fun, but that would be terrifying

Good spot. Old enough for cheap tax, werthers enough to fly under the radar. Seats look lovely. Keenly priced with those miles too.
I enjoyed mine. They are really good cars. Such a pity what happened to Saab.

First reasonable new LS430 ad in ages. Will be a good barometer of where the market is

I look back fondly on mine but it was a bit if a mixed ownership experience. I do miss the midrange torque.

190E with just 25,000 miles. White and meagre spec but this may appeal to a few on the thread. Currently at thread max and likely to go higher.

Why mixed, if I may ask? What were the minuses?

I agree - tempted myself. And to provide the all important rear seat update, they do indeed look unused (as does the front passenger seat)

Similarly here - good car, but when it stranded us for the third time, it was time for it to go.

Good car? Surely the first requirement of a car is that it doesn't leave you stranded, much less three times.

My E46 Clubsport went yesterday, collected by a Shipley agent at 2100, so I’ve just got to decide what to do with the XJR and then I may start looking at C215’s.

I’ve ‘been looking’ for a couple of years at them now, but yet to take the plunge, and the (almost) inevitable face full of cold water which would follow.
