That reminds me of the underground garages that lift up. I remember the story of 2 Countach's on one and lifting it up to get underneath.

Imagine looking out of your bedroom window and seeing 2 Countachs right outside, lol.

Can you open the roof on your car port?

I'm sure you could find someone to help you on your car for a bit of ramp time.

Do you also have a Marjorie?

All proper carport owners also have a Marjorie, specialising in Victoria sponge cakes and fear of change.

No response from the S600TT seller, probably for the best.

Anyone wants a cheap runabout this is on Facebook in hull:

Suspension looks a little high on the front, missing some parking sensors. But it is the galvanised model so shouldn’t be much rust. Can’t get him down to £500 so no good for me :-)
Would anyone here actually buy a car from an advert like that? Instant no from me ...
Why not? It's in very good conditions. hehe
...but has out issues, seemingly.
Charming.

That's another thing that annoys me on adverts - if you're going to park in a space in a public car park for the photographs, at least get the car in the space. Does the slapdash attitude towards parking transmit to a slapdash attitude towards the car? Probably.Even if it is in "good conditions".

Is anybody near York and in need of a cheap summer smoker? This looks really fresh to my eyes and I have never seen red cloth in one of these before.

Doesn't sound like it has any current issues and doesn't look rusty!

£4k must be a steal!

I'm sure this was up for sale before, and I was off to view it the next day and it was sold

It's a £500 car on Facebook marketplace - I don't think you can be that picky. If it stops and goes without making any weird noises, I'd consider that a win tongue out

I think it's a bit wrong with the burgundy (Calypso?) exterior, but looks a nice car for the money.

Ah. I don't have a Marjorie, but the chap who built the carport (and had a great battle with the Council due to a lack of planning permission to keep it!) did!

Is an old 520 with cloth and no MOT for over 2 years really great value at £700?

Didn’t realise that it had no MOT.
I was blinded by the lack of rust, those seats and the owner’s Stately Home address.
Apologies.
As you were.

I have a weird liking for that - I'd never spec it myself but it looks pretty good.

Smooth and sonorous little six humming away, soft suspension and decent tyre sidewalls would make an interesting anti-modern barge.

ETA: No MOT wouldn't worry me that much, assuming it's not rotten as a peach it's an easy car to look after.

Didn't read the ad. Not worth £700.
