Last serviced at Jaguar (only 5 years ago) and sporting a nice set of wheels and new rubber. At this price you can buy it, keep the 75 and still have change from what the last one was going to cost. 2 for the price of 1. It is the thread way.

I think he's just read it wrong- last page on pic 17 shows a service in Feb 2018, 400 miles after its MOT in 2017 at 131k. So it's due a service but not overdue, if that makes sense. smile

Last Jag stamp appears to be on 10.2.18 at 131k miles?

Has anyone got a link for this £3.5k SV8 that I definitely shouldn’t even be looking at pictures of, let alone contemplating buying...
I’ll take that as a no then

I can't look any further. Wasn't that in a Steven King novel?

Apologies - I read that as 2015 for some reason. Interior aside, it looks like a decent car. Good looking gravel driveway too, with it’s own gate. The Z4 coupe in the background also points to someone who likes their cars.

The 75 was meant to be. Think how much more upset you would have been if you had done that in your recently painted V8 supercharged Jaguar. Driving a barge has many advantages!

What do we think of this?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MERCEDES-E350-PETROL-AU...

Had a "A GEARBOX OVERHAUL COSTING NEARLY £1800", so may have had the plate replaced, although no mention of when, also at some stage it had a 2nd hand SBC fitted, which sounds abit dodgy.

It's over in Wales and no reg plate to be seen though.

Is the 350 engine somewhat troublesome at times as well, I think it involves an expensive repair with the balancer shaft?

It seems to be a pretty nice spec overall though.

In another ad,

"A top of the range most sought after Mercedes CLK 320 AMG Sport"

Well except for the 430, and the 55. Kind of slap bang in the middle of the range really, getmecoat.

He can buy more tools to fix it as well, time for a polisher.

Haha my first reaction - at least I didn't spend 5k on it!

Yes, the 350 engine has some issues. I think if you know the VIN you can check if it is an affected engine.

Went into my drive forwards rather than backwards as I normally do, managed to scrape the car along the wooden post of my gate. The black paint transfer should polish off...but there is a couple of chunks out the wheel arch and scratches on the door that may or may not polish out....

Just purchased a set of four Goodyear Efficiency Grip performance tyres for the mighty 190e 2.0. Workmates think I'm bonkers but as premium tyres in 15 inch are so cheap at £50 each, why not! Being fitted Monday. Would be interested to read any comments from anyone who's had them before...
Just bought exactly the same for my a124 £196 for four fitted. Makes a change from modern cars at £200 each for anything premium.

The Goodyear’s were £50ish each or the ditchfinder kiddykillers were about £35 each no brainier.
Absolutely, I know my car isn't the last word in power but I can't bring myself to go cheap on tyres!

Let me know what you think of them.
They are on the A124 that only comes out when the suns shining and I’m not working. So not often unfortunately. They seem nice and quiet though.

I’m still in the hunt for a 4.2 x350 (supercharged or not) but lack of heated seats and heated windscreen means a no from me on this one. Plus not too keen on interior. The waiting game continues!
