Istr it had a Honda 1.3 engine in it?
Correct. The 1.6 didn't.Furthermore, iirc, it was one of the first of the breed of (ordinary) cars that required extra work to carry out simple tasks.
For instance, the battery had to be removed to replace the offside headlight bulb. Grrr.
Now you'll all tell me that I dreaming, and lots of car of that era were like that!

Has anyone used an iCarsoft Mercedes V2.0 edition?
I'm thinking of getting one to go over and view the E350 at the end of the week.
The CR Pro would be nice, however it's an extra £100, few months late for the MBclub group buy.
Any experience anyone?
I used mine to diagnose issues with the airmatic on my CLS. It claimed it was a sensor problem which I then cleaned and reset. The airmatic worked fine for the next 10 months or so till I sold it. The next owner ended up replacing a airmatic strut a while later so not sure how accurate it was. Mines now sat doing nothing in the shed so I'd sell it cheap to someone on here if it's of any use. Postage from Europe though so that might add a few quid.I'm thinking of getting one to go over and view the E350 at the end of the week.

Save having a V8, I didn't think there was any point at all in a 4.2 Touareg until I saw this Interior. You won't buy it. Why would you?

Those seats, bloody hell, like something you'd see a scantily clad lady on Babestation grinding her blurt over.
This!Is a simply wonderful image.

As (to be honest) comfortable I would be zooming about in a pornographers car, I don’t like the seats either. They remind me too much of 90s MGs
(Nice use of the word ‘Blurt’, I thought that was a local thing as I’d never heard anyone else use it!)

I had this tonight.
It was good, and I have a second bottle. The buxom librarian/Iberian liked it.
I thought of you lot. Briefly. Very, very briefly. But long enough to decide to picture it.
Nothing wrong with it becoming the thread vino and appearing on the t-shirt.
Jolly nice. I’m on a little number from Lisbon this evening. Chin chin!It was good, and I have a second bottle. The buxom librarian/Iberian liked it.

An 80s Rover that spent its life in Aberdeen?

This 800 was owned by “William Wallace”. Probably not that one. It’s clearly Z list celebs from Longbridge day.

I had one like that in 1988. 216SE flavour, same colours. My choice.Only car I ever had with paint drips, and a random loose fixing somewhere under the dash.
A micro barge. Thread worthy in Vanden Plas spec. But not really very good.
The 416 that I had next was better in nearly every way, and remains one of the best cars I’ve ever had to live with.
But seeing that 213 after all these years, it seems somehow alluring...
Hell of a car at the time, but so impossibly uncool for a 20 year old bloke to drive about in a sky blue rover saloon with mid grey interior. I swapped it for a MK1 polo with a bloke in a pub. Turned out the polo was actually 2 polos and was held together with bailer twine and pigeon sh!t. Loved that polo. First time I shagged the missus was in that little red deathtrap after a night out at the drovers.

You mention the Drovers, only one I know is on Loch Lomond. If so you must be reasonably local to me. In fact I’m currently on the east side of the loch.
If this isn't the very essence of *thread*, then nothing is -

Admittedly, peasant gears. However, in this circumstance, I'd prefer that.
PS - slight thread budget creep.

Nice, that has a certain elegance to it. Last week I sold my XJR, and a few hours later accepted its return for a few quid less (long story, short version: the buyer's wife hated it). I had been considering a Range Rover to assist with our planned purchase of a house project, as well as reduce licence points accumulation, but have now decided to keep the Jag*, and look for an estate shed / barge in addition.
The plan is to see this sometime during the week:

If a deal is made, forecourt shots may have to wait as GPM's sil needs to borrow it for a while.
- I had a very disappointed back up buyer in Kent, so if anyone has a decent X350/358R for sale, I can pass on details to him.
I'm not sure if we've had this before, I vaguely remember it from somewhere. Anyway, it's an E36 at a decent haggle above thread max.

“ Originally spec’d by a wealthy Chelsea resident, this car was ordered to cross continents in luxury and silence, carrying all luggage without compromise whilst still able to shame almost any normal vehicle on the road.”
Oh just duck off with that made up ste.
