Hey all

Recently purchased a nearly new 992 C4S. Absolutely beautiful Gentian Blue.

Performance is just ridiculous. I test drive a Huracan Evo too and it doesn’t feel much different and I can sling the kids in the back.

Anyway can anyone recommend car seats that fit for a 3 year and 5 year old (both tall). The back seats are very slim and existing seats are a squeeze which pushes them further and reduces the leg room even more.

I have these https://store.porsche.com/gb/en/Vehicle-accessorie...

Sucked in by the marketing obviously. It is a good fit for our 4 year old. Not sure how we will ever get it out again though. Pretty sure it's just a maxi cosy under the covers.

Hi, Iknownothin please can you confirm whether this seat you purchased from Porsche is the ISOFIX version, and does it fit in the rear seats of the 992?

Also, has anyone else come across any other isofix high back booster seats for a 5 year old that fits in the back seats of 992 C4?

thank you smile

Yes it's the isofix model and yes it fits quite well. It is tight in terms of width as you push it back. I made the mistake of forcing the base all the way back to the back rest and then realised my daughter was sat bolt upright so as long as you don't make that mistake it's OK. I haven't tried to remove it as yet, I think it could be a bit of a pain if you were doing it on a regular basis.

Thank you so much for this photo. Really helpful! Luckily it will be staying in place the majority of the time and so will not have to take it in and out.

Now I’m off to order that 992 ! smile

That looks like a maxicosi rhodiprotect with a Porsche logo - £99 at John lewis, albeit think this is the non-isofox version. https://www.johnlewis.com/maxi-cosi-rodi-air-prote...

It's actually really convenient because you can reach the belt from the drivers seat and so as long as your little one is big enough to climb in the back it's easier than many people would think, its certainly easier in a car park than reaching though the door as is the case with our main family wagon.

Have fun ordering!

I have a (obviously used) Maxi Cosi Rodi that I’ve used for my kids in the back of my 911s. It’s the best-fitting seat I have found for recent years 911 rear seats.

It’s free to a good home if you can collect. Might be a less helpful offer given the need for social distancing and possible disinfecting/cleansing but the offer is there. Otherwise it will be going to the local recycling centre when they open back up.

Yes, maxi cosi rodifix best for 992, I have 2 Porsche isofix ones in our Macan, but I felt was too tight for the 992.

The rodifix is the best option and a bit cheaper.
