Looks a LOT better with silver.Venisonpie said:
Agree, transforms it. I can't stand black wheels but ironically have them on my Elise -it seems to work with Chrome Orange bodywork.
Tbf my brother has satin black slipstreams on his mustard yellow S1 Elise and it looks incredible, looks much better than silver on a lot of Lotus' oddly. Rod200SX said:

You bought that? I was seriously considering it myself.
Glad you didn't The couple of times I have driven properly, it has been pretty epic. I am concerned it will be too loud for any UK track days though, which is really disappointing.
Hoping to get it out a lot more this summer, maybe head into Europe then I can really see what it's like.

Black, as a colour hides detail. You see this on black cars, the lines just disappear. It's the same for wheels. I think many cars suit black wheels, but the same wheel design in silver (or similar) looks completely different. You almost get away with any wheel design by going for darker colours, with lighter colours I think you need to be far more selective in order for it to suit the car. I'd rather Silver, bronze, gold etc.
