The first picture on an add for a GTR. Ad doesn’t mention being bounced off the limiter in a Tesco car park every weekend

Seen this one too the other day whilst having a look for my next car, who seriously thinks yes sign me up for that Tesco car park special GTR that has a working limiter, spits out flames and attracts “car lovers” for miles https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/202...
Okay, I st you not, this is genuinely on an AT ad at the moment (and very topical)...
I was looking at Volvo XC70s, and this is the last picture on the following advert:

I should imagine alot of these odd photos are as a result of someone creating their add on the app and when it comes to photo upload time (the photos which have been taken on their phone), they have just selected one too many pictures, without checking.
In the case of the Volvo one, the pigeon pic would have been the last picture in the gallery, prior to taking the photos of the Volvo, it was probably sent to him by a mate via WhatsApp.

I don't see anything wrong with that. The pics represent exactly what it is being advertised as ie. to be dismantled for parts.Evercross said:

Do any car dealers use photographers? I’d expect a car dealer just to take photos with an iPhone or similar high quality phone, which is more than adequate.
I used to use a DSLR when I took pics working at a dealer.I took pride in it.
Mind, the time I spent on them, the average dealer wouldn't allow someone to do.

Seems like a homage to the Tom Hartley adverts. Sadly the end result makes it look like it’s been abandoned in a lake full of algae.
