I categorically would not buy one with that front end. The photoshopped 8 series grille looks so much better. This reminds me of the f up (IMO) VW have done on the mk8 Golf vomit

The designers must be stting themselves.
Either that or someone is getting 2 pay checks. The second being from a German competitor maybe.
When these appear on the roads no one will be looking at the car as all eyes will be focused on the person who bought it.

I suspect the competitors are laughing at bmw got it sooo wrong.

That being said bmw has been slipping into this nonsensical design for most of the new or LCI.

The "weird" thing in all of this is the G30/31 LCI escaped with a pretty nice set of updates and not some oversize appendages on the front end.

I've just been sick, again.

This new direction just to appeal to the Chinese market and their love of massive showy grills apparently..

I think it has been said on here many times; these grilles aren't for China. Well, not just for China. The US loves them, Europe broadly hates them, and Asia probably loves them as a whole. I think it's a risky move, but I also think the haters will get used to them. Possibly. Even Germany dislikes them in a poll I saw - yet Munich perseveres to poop on their own doorstep (metaphorically).
To people saying they've just been sick... have you? Really?

Any one fancy running a book on how many months it will be, post launch, that the first LCI occurs?
My guess is 9 months, over to you....
2023 along with the G20. Not before, and it won't involve a major front end restyle. In my opinion only, of course.

How can you go from the F3X/F8X, to this G2X/G8X abortion :boke:

How the mighty have fallen. As said earlier in the post, its as if the industry is pre-conditioning the public, to accept ugly vehicles in future.
