1 MB is original issue but 2 MB was £8500 match 91 and 3 MB £7500 Sep 92 + VAT Etc.
Triple Six, where is this owner based?

M3DGE, need help on this one. Cannot find when this 1 MB was issued. I'm looking at page 92 in "The bible" - Chester County Council.

1 MB no longer belongs to them, unless it is on loan to a private individual. It sits on a very special Veyron, which previously wore 2 MB IIRC.
Not sure if this has been answered as I’ve only just opened the thread, but the cars mentioned above and the plates belong to Mike Bailey, who owns The Trade Centre Wales. He sells a lot of cars. He has two Veyrons as well as the Chiron and a bunch of other good stuff. Ant.
You mean Mark Bailey?

He also has a great number plate collection and he buys and sells a lot. He had 4 D and 7 D but I've heard he has since sold them

Thanks for these and the previous ones. I've amused myself out of all proportion looking at various plate sellers websites and searching for DUN 1N,
GON 3R, PEG 1T, BUR 14L, M8 ALM and the like, much to my other half's irritation. laugh No sense of humour, some people!

I'm also quite taken with W321 GON. It's cheap and I like the way it sounds.

Yes, his name is Mark Bailey.

I followed him around my hometown in South Wales once when he was in his Bugatti Chiron, couldn't quite believe what was in front of me.

The Mercedes that 7 Y is on is up for sale so looks like 7 Y is about to change onto a new car. The SingleSingle site already has these photos though so not a new spot

I actually live in Uxbridge and have never seen these plates around, I have an inkling though into where they might've been, too late though i suppose. scratchchin

For the SingleSingle fans

There are some old pictures on the site before my time that I had doubts about. Quite a few were removed that I established weren't right. This one I wasn't sure about as very little was known about it and just the one photo.

Quite an old picture and nothing seen since.

The person who owned it a couple of years back sent me this

Full image on the site

Now if only we could spot that white SLK that wears 9 A to complete the set

I've seen this one a couple of times round London City (mentioned it on here too as I liked it) It was on a white BMW Z4 sDrive. I looked it up and it's now on an i8.

I mentioned it the other day in the c124ppy plates thread. It's a great looking plate, but the way it's spaced isn't right.

How would I determine a rough price for a dateless plate?

There a few I've spotted for sale, private sellers with the current physical plate pictured, rather than a company listing just the reg.

The initials don't have any specific relevance to me but they're good looking dateless plates and seem fairly priced, although it's hard to know if they are actually well-priced..
What format are we talking? 2x2 start around £6k ish, 3x1 start around £4k ish, this is obviously for random undesirable combos with X's Y's etc.
I would say though, that the unwritten rule for undesirable letters such "X" and "Y", wouldn't be as applicable nowadays. If you look at the prices for X and Y plates in recent auctions, you'd see they weren't significantly less than other letter combinations. Also names are origin based. A lot of Chinese names, for example would start with X. A lot of Asian names start with Y.
