FRA53R - Alfa Romeo Stelvio. Annoyingly spaced how I wrote it. £7200 plus bits back in April 1999.
That changes cars quite a bit. Not surprisingly as the owner is quite high up in the Glyn Hopkins Group1UK: Black FFRR
KAT11Y: Black Land Cruiser (avoided putting a black screw between the two 1's to make an H)
Nice pair owned by donutskidmark over on the 'What private plates do you have?' thread:

https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...We have a new spot! Well kind of. It's actually sat on this one for a while and whilst the photo doesn't show the plate I can assure you it;s registered as F 7. Unfortunately the museum involved doesn't want to play ball and give me a better picture
Its a Mors Petit
3 Y appears a few pages back on a car it's not registered to. It should be on this
That picture was taken before the plate was fraudulently removed and placed on a Golf but that's another story.
This was transferred a while back but I misplaced the pic I had. I did wonder why anyone would want to spend that much on a X3

I have 40LLX on mine, bought from DVLA auction, some people get it, some don't.
It about sums up my attitude to all of those contrived, illegal number/letter spacings and strategically placed single bolts on stuck-on number plates.
To perpetuate the theme I went the auction of 8 OLX but its eventual price of £3,400 plus premium and VAT (at least another third) before you got it on a car seemed a bit over the top.

The very first post of the first edition of this thread was ofIt about sums up my attitude to all of those contrived, illegal number/letter spacings and strategically placed single bolts on stuck-on number plates.
