Saw a little dark red Kia/Hyundai thing coming the other way when I was driving this morning in Wimbledon. I thought, "hmm, that plate looks short". As it passed me, it confirmed that it was indeed a short plate - 6T

Has someone got confused with the VIN Plate and the Number Plate when getting them made up? lolSpecial delivery to someone in Milton Keynes on the 13th March! I wonder if it’s even their own tracking number or it’s just random and some sort of wind up!?

Flew past me on the A3 just before Hook and I thought exactly the same! Never posted on this thread but before and thought I might - then saw your post! Small world...Shnozz said:

I may be wrong, but I don't think that rule applies any more...
"While the car you're taking the private plate from doesn't need to have an MOT, it must be able to move under its own power, and must have been taxed or been SORN'd for the last five years. The DVLA may also need to inspect your car before approving or turning down your application"
Interesting thanks. I wonder what defines under its own power! Makes it more grey than when it was MOT only!"While the car you're taking the private plate from doesn't need to have an MOT, it must be able to move under its own power, and must have been taxed or been SORN'd for the last five years. No motor, no doors, no bumpers, no interior, no anything really.
It had been SORN so I applied for it to be put on retention through the dvla site and it was processed with no question.

3.5 V8 Land Rover. I thought it was a good plate but it may fall into the crappy thread. Oh and 6 RU just up the road on an XC90.
Nice. Toit means roof in French. Maybe some connection? Roof looks a bit odd! Edit Safari Roof. What part of Africa did you see it in?
