Some combo that!
I can imagine Collecting Cars salivating at that for an auction. Almost seems a shame to split them but guess it maximises the value.
Check out the reflection on the top pic too! That's also going up! I didn't realise i'd caught that at the time.I can imagine Collecting Cars salivating at that for an auction. Almost seems a shame to split them but guess it maximises the value.
Unbelievable! Somebody is about to be able to live out my dreams.

Sorry for your loss.
With LAM 80S currently up for 110k, I'd suggest doubling that?!
I'm sure the car and plate are known to the Lambo community, is there an obvious owners forum to tap into? If not, Collecting Cars would be my suggestion too.
Good luck, it's a cracker.
Thank you. I never know if the sale price on sites like that is realistic or not, it's a strange one. I have tried contacting the Lambo club UK and the various forums. I have had a couple of bits of interest. I also reached out to a company that sells cars to Premier League Footballers as it seems like a good fit. With LAM 80S currently up for 110k, I'd suggest doubling that?!

I just had a look on collecting cars as I'd not heard of that before. Looks interesting.
Everything is currently due to go up with Bonhams, but not sure if that is the best route or not. Theres around 20 classic cars and quite a few number plates on the whole.

Seems like everyone on here recommends Collecting Cars, but for me it just isn't big enough to the wider community to maximise your return on it. Sure if you're in the know then you know about it, but the market penetration is still small imo.
Bonhams would be a good fit if they put it into their Goodwood auctions.
Good luck with the sale.

Thank you for the feedback. Yeah, it's likely going with Bonhams @Goodwood - I just wasn't sure how good they were for number plates.Seems like everyone on here recommends Collecting Cars, but for me it just isn't big enough to the wider community to maximise your return on it. It's full of plate dealers who I'm pretty confident would have the contacts to sell privately and be able to put an accurate value on the plate.

You've jogged my memory - I think I saw that too myself elsewhere.Really, come on, a bit naff.
Was it on an 'old school' Rolls? (Shadow??)
If not, it must have been another HRH plate. lol
