Its owned by a Haulage company (can't remember the name), they also have HGV 1.
When they had the contract for the Honda trailers, they used both on these.

An amazing plate for sure.
Seems like everyone on here recommends Collecting Cars, but for me it just isn't big enough to the wider community to maximise your return on it. Sure if you're in the know then you know about it, but the market penetration is still small imo.
Bonhams would be a good fit if they put it into their Goodwood auctions.
Good luck with the sale.
Thank you for the feedback. Yeah, it's likely going with Bonhams @Goodwood - I just wasn't sure how good they were for number plates.
If you want to maximise the return I would suggest posting in this facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/239723463951468

It's full of plate dealers who I'm pretty confident would have the contacts to sell privately and be able to put an accurate value on the plate.
Bonhams will get the correct audience but also charge a large fee which the buyer will price into the bid.

I was going to suggest that exact Facebook group. Contact the Admin and Saj Iqbal (the one who has been there for 2 years), both top blokes who will give you honest opinions

He actually sounds alright in that interview- at least he uses his cars and doesn’t worry about mileage and all that nonsense

Saw that last week but forgot to post.
Originally a Yorkshire plate too I think.
Saw 146 U on a Bentley GT in Harrogate - another local plate.
Yep, I’ve seen it a few times around here

Seen at my local garden centre today. I consider this "real good" - distinctive and good looking - even someone who isn't a plate spotter would agree.

It’s great. The fine for reducing the central gap is between £10 O and £10 OO. laugh

Surely it would look more impressive if it just said "16" though?

To each their own. Cheapens an otherwise fantastic car. Spell the word or leave it alone. Some butchered attempt to sort of say the model should be the preserve of cheap tat.
