What about one like 666 rrr or as per the bike reg?
I'm assuming they're vastly more expensive than the equivalent ERC 287?

I’ve always quite liked an eye catching short suffix plate, either with all the same letters or just an unusual looking combination. Normally a fair bit cheaper than dateless plates but still look pretty decent.

These are all coming up in future auctions…

Does HAY 848Y on a Scania truck count? It was pulling two trailers full of hay up the M6 towards Birmingham the other day. No pics sadly.

Is the owner of the plate Vin Diesel?

and is he Euro 4 compliant? Otherwise he may need to change his name to Vin PHEV
smile
Is his surname really Diesel?

There’s a couple in that auction I’d really like. I missed out on RT66 USA a few years back, bidding went too high for me.

For some reason I actually prefer 3 letter and 1 number combination plates to the shorter ones!

I also like stuff that just looks cool. Someone on here posted 777 VVV - I just like the way that looks.
beer

Switched to my bike recently, works well I think.

Lobee that! smile

I'm hoping to get the WWW 2W plate but I know realistically bidding will go too high

Always hard to predict, best of luck though!

I was in the auction hall for mine and remember the feeling when it kept getting closer to my top end, thankfully the hammer fell right on my limit. Was quite a buzz!

I’ve bid for two over the years, sadly my pockets weren’t deep enough for either.

My bidding was done online but I smashed through my ceiling price and then had auction frenzy. Probably paid too much on reflection but then contrast to my share investments in the last 12 months, what’s the odd grand or two?!

This , I look back at various auctions that went too high at the time , then kick myself for the relatively small amount difference, in the scale of thing that now aren’t a lot of money.

Fair comments. 5 years on and situation has changed for the worse a lot and it doesn’t seem such a good use of funds. hehe

Have a feeling it possibly featured on here a few weeks ago, but I haven’t got the energy to click back through several pages to look for it smile
