Took a while to work that one out, picture does not do it justice for the cracking colour in the sun.

On Collecting Cars, CHR 15C

I know the owner of CHR 15F
Looks like "CHR 15C" is an original issue.... "CHR 15F" is DVLA auction release Sold for £6200 + the bits in November 02.
Cool! I did check to see if it had come from a DVLA auction and it hadn't. The CHR 15F one seems a good price!

What's good about it though? It's rubbish and doesn't belong in here at all.

May have been mentioned here before but today on the M3 I saw 1 BMW on, yes, a BMW. Grey, I guess 7 Series. I had to gov.uk check it as I wondered whether is was a show plate left on by mistake, but yes, they have it as a grey hybrid BMW.

That must be worth gazillions? And belong to BMW, surely?

I have to agree. Unless I'm missing something. James Bond with an extra zero and three random letters?

Well here are my thoughts, looking back on some posts here, and some are just excellent, this is what I see and what it means to me in terms of a good number plate, all numbers are from previous posts-

POP 9Y - I think of Popeye

VKE 5 - Absolutely no idea, but presumable someone knows.

14A - Absolutely no idea

CRA 1G - I think of Craig

SJB 2 - Absolutely no idea

1BOD - Absolutely no idea

111MS - Absolutely no idea

M25 JAM - I think of the continuous traffice jams on the M25

DEC1 - on a Jag XJL, what is the significance?

Two I may have posted previously were

K9DOG - Back of a Range Rover by a kennel owner

One I dont think I post but may have in earlier editions and I hought was clever, SEP1A, may be lost of some but was on a van used by a local photographic studio, and there is a process called "Sepia Toning", so being a keen photographia it meant something to me.

And the one in question which looks like 0007LED made me think of James Bond.

So maybe looking at those above, to which some to me anyway are meaninless, can you clarify the definition of a real good number plate. but of course its down to the individuals how they intepret the plate.
