Very hard double-take on the walk to the football tonight, what a plate and what a car!
That is an ace spot smile
Maybe someone could confirm my thought that the plate was bought prior to the car being produced ?

That would have been £1K in 1990. I tried to buy H1 TEC at that time but it had gone after 6 hours continually dialing on the land line, so I ended up with A7 TAK which was a more affordable £165.
Is that when " hi lol" would have gone up for sale too ? Seen that offered for £20k recently.

Was browsing as you do and came across this one for sale. Certainly not as good as "K33 PER" but that's on a 2015 gt3 rs so unlikely to be available any time soon.

Wondered what critics thought of it. £7.5k of your hard earned.

Not a bad price if it includes the car, otherwise what is the plate 'trying' to say?

I simply don't get this 'make up words from old number plate letters and numbers' approach: we've reached a point where normal number plates are being touted as 'cherished / personal' plates. Nuts.

It's probably on the wrong thread.

Pretty much what I expected! Thanks for opinions, I was split on it myself

(I didnt seriously consider actually buying it. Just saw it while browsing and was curious what thoughts were as it is a bit of a stretch)

I think it's dependant on the plate isn't it? What's your view on this one for example?

Or this?

Thats cool, will get lots of hate for not actually spelling weapon here and it's different to the one I posted but still conveys the same word to anyone with functioning synapses. Albeit not quite on same level as the "W34 pon" one.

If you spent £7,500 on that plate the only people who had any idea that you'd done so would be you and your partner.

Think it's been mentioned before, but on an old episode of Wheeler Dealers, 28 P is on the Sprinter van and trailer of their assistant mechanic Paul.

Just did a quick check and surprisingly it's still on the same vehicle - yellow Sprinter with nearly 170k miles and a clean MOT history laugh
