This 320 looks lovely. The same chap I bought mine from. An old merc nut and a good chap. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1995-MERCEDES-BENZ-E-CL...

Wow - that is shiny.

It's funny, I'm a sucker for shiny cars when I'm buying, but then when I'm using them, I like them to look and feel a bit more used.

I'm happy to report that our S124 did us proud this summer. Fully loaded the car with 2 kids, 4 bikes, luggage for a week (thanks to Biglips for the roof bars) - it performed faultlessly. I'm particularly pleased to say that Mrs Rejn and the kids all continue to love the car - they are all noticeably more relaxed in this compared to when we take Mrs Rejn's Evoque thing.

Oh - and re: barge meet up - sounds good to me - how about Caffeine and Machine as a location? I've been wanting to go there for ages, and not made it yet.

That s320 is lovely. Same loom issues as the w124? A better motorway wafter? Low 30’s On a 70mpg motorway run? Is this a little toppy on price? Are those Orthopedic seats? Sorry for the questions, this has got me a little excited
No they are the (very) boggo seats, the wheel you can see is lumbar support adjust. You actually have to adjust the position of the seat by hand which is not really becoming of an S-class and means you miss the joy of motorised head rests.

Ben
I have to say, no vehicle I've searched before has had such a short spec, lol.

Not sure it's really an S Class if it doesn't have soft close.

This thread never ceases to amaze me. If I ever need to find the location in a picture I think I’ll just photoshop in a car and post it on here!!

Golant is fab though! We must have overlapped - that photo was as we arrived on Friday 7th August and we were there for a week - staying in Fowey.

And in other news, I was amazed to find this out.

Our 2 kids love going in the seats in the boot of the S124. I believe Mercedes no longer offer this feature on E class estates.

But... amazingly, it appears that Tesla do offer this feature on the model S - I found this old Tesla for sale with these:

That would be a good venue for a meet as it's quite central and definitely not worth a special journey!

IIRC harrykul also had an interesting coffee table. Something about dwarves.
