Wow, no idea they were money like that!
4 in total, two at the front and two at the back. It’s the back two (secondary) that I’ve removed.
There is a code which will start with KT and has four numbers after it. Post it up and I’ll tell you what they are worth.4 in total, two at the front and two at the back. It’s the back two (secondary) that I’ve removed.
Codes on the CATs: AMG KTA007

That’s each, it’s also usually about 10% lower than I get from my guy in Birmingham. But it’s a bit of a pain to call him for some random on the net :-) no offence. Message me for details of where to sell.

Threadist name check alert and beardy fact on this morning’s Smith and Sniff...I did speak to JS about it last year when it was enroute from Japan. He'd not long had the Jimny and we also chatted about my Turbo R and 2CV sharing the same garage.
Collected the e34 after “big tings” - semi self-congratulatory post follows...apologies
The new rear SLS struts, spheres, fresh CHFS fluid and M5 spec -10mm H&R springs work really well - very compliant and probably not far off factory comfort levels I imagine. Ride heights I will monitor as its bound to settle, but it’s sitting just right at the moment.
Was a bit of a gamble as even the nice lady at H&R could not guarantee what the outcome would be with m5 springs on a 525...he who dares and all that.
Refurbed injectors, new fuel filter and some new vacuum lines also done and prior to handing it over to BMS Surrey (excellent btw), I had a new chip fitted in the ECU which bumps ignition timing up a few notches. (The factory chip on the Non vanos cars has to cater for 91 Ron fuel as it does not run knock sensors.) It revs much more cleanly, and you definitely the extra surge when applying half throttle and more. No need for SUL either, however I’m running Esso SUL for its lack of ethanol (new engine bay fuel hoses replaced too).
Needs a wash, and less dustier brake pads, but BMS gave it the thumbs up based on overall condition - nice.

Lovely E34!
If I may divert onto wheels for BMWs for a moment, I'm having a set of alloys refurbed and fitting them to my E46, what should I do with the current set? They're a bit scruffy, but 10-footers... Should I have them refurbed and offer with or without tyres, or just sell on as-is?

Unless they're a design people will want you may as well go as is If I may divert onto wheels for BMWs for a moment, I'm having a set of alloys refurbed and fitting them to my E46, what should I do with the current set? People can be fussy with wheel refurbs and could presume newly refurbished wheels have had a quick job done to look superficially good. Are they the same wheel your having fitted? Some places offer part-ex if so?

Please post many e34 pictures after the promised wash! Interior as well.
Will do - for now, I have the original photos from the for sale ad - it won’t look any better than it does here!https://photos.app.goo.gl/ceWywN7EbBzyVD4u7
Will address the body work next year maybe - a few too many badly touched up stone chips for my liking.

I think you'll find that's a Phat One
The interior of the Phaeton is so horrible. I bet the mishmash of 50 different grey plastics looks even nastier contrasting with the caramac and dogst combo in that car.
I cannot see any rational reason whatsoever why anyone bought a Phaeton (or a Phat One) over a contemporary Audi A8.

Long time lurker of this thread here.
We've just had our '2nd' car written off and since we're no longer in need of 2 commuters there's a chance I could convince the other half into a much less economical, yet more interesting, car.
Happened to stumble on this E430. Apart from what looks like slightly frilly rear wheel arches, what's the thread opinion? A hair under £2k for a 4.3 litre V8 seems like a reasonable deal...
